SCWL 3 Episodes 1 – 7

SCWL Season 3 cast assessment

So here we are for another cast assessment. This cast I think is very different from what I assembled in the first two seasons. Something tells me this cast won’t nearly be as cutthroat or explosive. There is a good chance this season will be very hit or miss. I could see a few players becoming inactive or some funky plays occurring.

I predict the winner won’t be nearly as diabolical as Adam, Mervin, or David. Something tells me a nice guy will skate by and win this season due to this cast being much younger than other seasons.

AARON CONN

I think Aaron will make it deep into this game. We are the exact same age and have a ton in common with each other. His love for M Bison memes, Gene Wilder, and NBC’s Thursday night lineup tells me he will play this game in a similar manner that I normally would. He will be effective socially with the others, ruffle few feathers, put forth a strong effort in challenges, and will likely need an immunity run in the finale to secure the victory. The biggest pre-merge elimination shocker for me would be if Aaron is gone. There is simply no reason for him to be in any danger early on. He won’t stick out like a sore thumb.

BEN POWELL

A player who has a history of not doing well in ORGs. Ben is probably the one I know the best in this group thanks to him chatting with me about my TAR blog. Where I could see Ben faltering is if he does not get to know the other players on a personal level. His personality won’t stand out to the others in the beginning so he’ll need to work harder to make his presence known and make players feel like they need him around. If Ben doesn’t give a strong impression, I could see people voting out Ben because he would be an easy scapegoat and to not make the idea of targeting someone else a big headache.

BIJO LUMOGDANG

Another Filipino in the ORG community. He comes from that camp where aggression and scheming is the modus operandi. Something tells me Bijo will be playing a huge game from the start and will play a big factor in the outcome of this game. Whatever alliance he is in I assure you he will be at the core of it. It’s real good if you’re in the majority. But it is a nightmare if your alliance loses its numbers which would make Bijo an early sacrifice because he will have nowhere to hide.

DANIEL MARINO

The youngest player to ever sign up for this series. If I recall correctly Daniel has been in the ORG world for over a year. This means he was only a little over a year older than me when I started playing ORGs. From hearing about Daniel’s ORG reputation he sounds similar to how I played in my first Survivor ORG. My advice to Daniel is to follow the biggest villain in the game unconditionally. Be the best Yes Man imaginable. Make relationships and stay calm when your name is brought up. Why? Because when you reach the end it will be the villain who has a ton of blood on their hands and you will be awarded the victory because the jury will refuse to vote for the other player. The second Daniel becomes unpredictable to the others will be the very moment he is voted out.

ELMO BERBANO

I don’t know what to make of Elmo. He’s already confused me with which account he is using this game. That tells me Elmo will have a certain lack of focus to his game. He has messaged me more than any player as of June 25th. He is very eager to play which leads me to believe he will attack from minute one.

However this eagerness is why he won’t win this game. He will stand out too much and I would not be surprised to see him as a pre-merge boot in 12th, 13th, or 14th. He will have too tough of a time fitting in.

ERIC BAHEN

Hmmm. He is a very quiet fellow. I could see Eric getting to the end. He was also one of the first to apply. My guess is that Eric will be invited into any alliance being made. However I don’t see Eric being a ringleader. He’ll be universally trusted but won’t have the ability to claw others that will make him an ideal partner in crime. I think Eric’s key to succeeding in this game is to put all of his faith into someone who understands him and play a good cop/bad cop relationship. Eric will be effective to play a sneaky and subtle game.

JERIC REMOJO

Jeric is very good socially. He is strong in challenges. Unfortunately that puts him peril if he is in the minority. He will benefit heavily if this game turns into an emotionally-charged environment where people vote based on emotion rather than logic. Jeric won’t be extraordinarily effective as a leader but will be very good if he can find someone else to float with and go wherever the power is. Otherwise Jeric will be in the 7th-11th slot.

JIM READ

Aggressive. I see him as a mildly inactive villain. He could be the Scott Grensted of this season. I sense a very manipulative game coming from Jim. He will likely pick up Daniel Marino as a key ally then control a few others to create the endgame. All he needs is enough immunity wins for his tribe in the first half to write how this story goes to day 39.

JONAS GUARNASCHELLI

He will be the Ryan Flynn or Brian Kosek of this season. This is his first ORG and only playing because Stephanie told him to. I assume he will be quiet, slightly inactive, and will either be a mid-boot pre-merge or a mid-boot post-merge.

KIM PRATHER

This is the second cast assessment I have written for Kim. Kim dropped out from last season about five hours before the Opening Day challenge. She insisted Lister take her place. So we not only get an extremely active player for season 2 but we get Kim for season 3 anyway.

I don’t think Kim will make it too far this season. She gets into confrontations too much with the power players and will try too hard to play a game that will largely deviate from how everyone else this season will play. I imagine she challenges authority, everyone backs up the authority (probably Jim) early on to not ruffle feathers, and sends Kim packing.

KJ BOCK

Who’s she? Don’t know much about her.
.
.
.
.

Okay, seriously KJ is known by virtually everyone in the ORG community. Well, the Facebook ORG community at the very least. She has played over 200 Facebook ORGs I would guess. KJ’s complaints lately have been that she is too well known that players get rid of her first round just because of her round. What that tells me is that KJ needs to switch strategies when she is dealing with newer players. Newer players are in abundance in my games so the strategy change will be necessary.

I have heard that KJ participates well in the first couple challenges but tends to create too many alliances to the point where newer players get nervous and eliminate her because they want to play their own game. What should KJ do? Slow down. Build solid relationships. Be a worker bee. Then slowly create your key alliances that will let you control the second half of this game. If KJ can build alliances and bonds from the bottom-up rather than the top-down, there is no reason why she can’t be advancing all the way to the end.

LAUREN STRUDWICK

I’d say he makes the merge. He seems like a pretty bright player who will know how to work his way through the obstacles that come out. I would say Lauren appears to be a thinker. If people catch on I see Lauren going home early. However, if people don’t see how big of a game he intends to play or one person embraces Lauren’s thinking abilities, Lauren could very well win this game.

NICK RADAKOVICH

I could see Nick being very hated by the end of the game. Personally I wouldn’t be shocked if people are vying for Nick to be their goat. Nick has a very troll-like status that will make him too unsettling for his tribe to keep him around or will be embraced and will do their darndest to ensure he is available in the endgame to be used to take out other jury threats.

SHERI LYNN

I don’t know if Sheri has what it takes to handle this cast. She is known for her fights in the ORG world, and while I don’t think she’ll fight with anyone in this group except perhaps Nick or Jim, I believe she may fall out of the game from a disinterest in this group and be an early boot. I could be wrong, though. Sheri may have a very controlling game planned for such a youthful group.

SILVER REVLIS

Silver is a rookie player who comes from the Sono camp. The same camp which gave us David Racine and Dave Bronson. This means I will probably underestimate their abilities and prove to have a very strong game. For now I will say Silver will run a very ‘pure’ game. Meaning that they will work very hard for their tribe in challenges but stay away from conniving alliances or betrayals. I sense a strong sense of loyalty from Silver. I predict a mid-jury boot.

STEPHANIE DEFRANKO

She personally recruited Jonas to the game. In the past those who personally recruit their friends have not done too well. Perhaps it makes the recruiter a bit too confident about their position in the game and thus play recklessly? I think Stephanie may be a victim of that. If she plays just as hard as she would without Jonas’ presence then she stands a good chance of being part of a powerful alliance to the end. On the other hand she could be a sitting duck if she only chooses to work with Jonas and Jonas alone.

TINA WARREN

I’ve played in several games with Tina but she tends to be a mid-boot. She tends to pick a side, and if it’s the wrong side, she can’t find a way to separate herself and fade into the background. When she is in the majority she doesn’t have the greatest percentage in terms of winning at the endgame. Perhaps Tina needs to build bonds with everyone in the game and not stick like glue to her alliance. Shunning others will do you no good. I don’t see Tina being a quick boot by any means but for whatever reason my gut is telling me she will finish just outside of Final Four.

VUITTONI REEVES

From what I’ve seen Vuittoni is a very up and down player. He can be extremely active or extremely inactive. What may save Vuittoni is being very experienced in the Facebook ORG community without anyone really knowing how much he has played. He is a big wildcard this game.

MERVIN’S ASSESSMENT

Aaron Conn:  Aaron Conn is fellow survivor fan which is an active member of Previously on Survivor.  He also played SurviveWar France ( which I host ). He have great energy and enthusiasm for orgs although his schedule might clash with it sometimes. I haven’t seen Aaron’s full potential as player in org since he only played once but one of Aaron’s weakness I guess him being opinionated and that puts the attention to him rather than to blend in and sway the attention away from him.

Ben Powell: Ben is a newbie. Sometimes newbies are the more determined ones and some just plays then dies after a couple of days.

Bijo Lumogdang: I played with Bijo on my very first org (all Pilipino org ) and he is a strong player specially at challengesand strategy  but he always fall short on the social aspect of the game. Nobody trust him and either doesn’t really like him or doesn’t get along with him. But if Bijo ends up with a tribe which keeps winning immunity until the merge, I really see him going far since Jeric is also on the game ( further explanation about this on Jeric )

Daniel Marino: Danny, Danny, Danny. Daniel have made a reputation org as an inactive player and constantly self votes. Daniel might be loyal as hell but with him as your alliance, you have to constantly dance with danger specially he makes surprise self votes every now and then.

Elmo Berbano: Elmo is a newbie. So no information about him or whatsoever except that he is a fellow Filipino and also hails from Cavite like me. Am I rooting for my fellow Caviteno? If he will be active, yes! Not all Pilipino players really want to play orgs since it’s hard for our timezone. If he gets in a alliance with Bijo and Jeric, they could really get far.

Eric Bahen: Nothing much information about Eric too since he is a novice.

Jeric Remojo: Jeric is also a Filipino and Bijo’s real friend. One of Jeric’s ultimate strategy? Play under the radar and ride someone until they carry him to the end. Jeric almost always reach final tribal council but he doesn’t have enough conviction to make a strong case to the jury. Now he is playing with his friend Bijo, I see this two aligning ( how could they not ) Bijo is strategic player and and Jeric is social player, combined together, they can create a perfect team if they can find a loyal third wheel that would  knock out the players one by one.

Jim Read: Jim is a member of Previously on Survivor so I guess he is excited to play a survivor game.

Jonas Guarnaschelli: How do I pronounce his last name? -_- Well I hope to see him get far.  That’s it.

Kim Prather: Kim is almost as controversial as Elvera, just like what her previous cast assessment last season. Why? Because Kim is a FIREBALL. You must have the ability to juggle her or she will burn you in this game. Kim always find a way to create conflicts but she can easily mend relationships too since most of the time, she just express her opinion.

KJ Bock: Kj is the queen ( most people says ) of orgs since she have been playing it for years have the most number of wins under her title. Kj’s game is vague. She will be active, she will be inactive. Maybe her strategy to erase he reputation as a strong player but in orgs, news travels faster than light. Unless KJ finds a really strong alliance that would carry her into the merge, I see her going far.

Lauren Strudwick: ZERO INFO!

Nick Radakovich: Not too much information about Nick except he added Jim Early and Shannon Elkins on POS group which is like the arch enemy of Survivor Whisper. I guess if he can do so much chaos like that, I would expect him to do in the game as well.

Sheri Lynn: I only played with Sheri once and she was on the other tribe and was voted off before the merge so I haven’t really seen her gameplay closely but Sheri is known also for speaking her mind and that cause people to be wary of her. But Sheri is a gold to take in the end specially if she pissed people off along the way.

Silver Revlis: Silver, well it’s a cool name. No information though.

Stephanie Johanna DeFranko: She have a long name -_- must be hard during her preschool years.

Tina Warren: Tina is also a veteran player. She was kinda on retirement when I started playing but lately she has been playing a lot of org. I can’t say anything much about Tina except she will probably align herself with Kim knowing their friendship.

Vuittoni Reeves: I also played with Vuittoni with Sheri on a game like 3 years ago. He isn’t active that much and he just appear sometimes to flirt with the girls on our tribes. Other than, nothing much about his gameplay.

DAVID’S ASSESSMENT

Daniel Marino-
A reputation that follows a player from Org to Org can be a dangerous thing. The very first time I heard someone speak about Daniel, i’m pretty sure the words “inactive” and “lack of participation” were used. Whether this is the case or not, it certainly seems like these are characteristics that quite a few people associate with him; which means he may have to make an extra effort right off the bat. What he needs to do is to have a consistent presence and good contribution in the first few challenges to reassure people of any doubts they might have about him. I certainly think that if he lasts past the first few challenges that he might be a great ally for someone strategically dominant to take with them; he has the potential to be a loyal follower and has enough game smarts to latch on and go with the flow. So in my opinion he’ll either be an early exit or play a quiet support role in an alliance.

Kim Prather-
I think the term “big personality” can’t even begin to describe Kim sometimes. She’s extremely popular within the Survivor FB community and is often the center of attention in any conversation thread she takes part in, which should make her fun to watch. From what I see she has a knack for getting along great with young men, which is uh, almost everyone who plays Orgs. As far as Org’s go, she’s pretty savvy and proactive when it comes to forming alliances so I definitely can picture her being a figurehead of an alliance. From personal experience playing with her in the past, I think she needs to watch out for making her intentions and true loyalties too obvious to everyone in the game and be discrete. My prediction for her is that she makes the merge and since she’s a big character I think whichever alliance rivals her will look to take her out first, but if she goes into the merge with numbers I definitely think she gets into at least Top 6.

Jim Read-
I know almost nothing about Jim, but from what I do know I want to see much MUCH more of him. The extent of my knowledge on him is that he got drunk on Skype and blasted a bunch of POS’ers. I think he’s a personal trainer and definitely fits into the “bro” stereotype which isn’t often seen in Orgs, so I’m excited to see what happens here and how he interacts with people. I have no idea if he’s ever played an Org before, but I certainly have high hopes for him providing some excitement.

KJ Bock-
The all-time leader in Org wins I believe. Her 31 wins make her a force to be reckoned with but of course paint a huge target on her back from the very beginning, and her winning record will be constantly and ceaselessly brought up by those looking to take her out. She’ll look to form a majority alliance right from the get-go and if successful will be extremely hard to stop once she gains momentum. Playing with so many new players might benefit her because she’ll have more of a “clean slate” than with experienced players, which might give her a bit more room to maneuver and play the game. My prediction: At least Top 5 unless people get too spooked by her record early on; it really depends on people’s reaction to her.

Tina Warren-
I don’t know too much about her, but I have seen her exit within the first few boots in several games recently, so hopefully she can end this trend.

At the top of this post is each of your names. As long as you see your name spelled out you are still in this game. When your name is gone from the top list so are you which will be the case for one of you this round.

Note that Tina and Lauren have asterisks around their name to represent the individual immunity they won in the encryption challenge.

You MUST answer your TC questions for your vote to count.

AARON,

1. Rough start for you guys this round. In the encryption challenge virtually everyone on Pasu completed it while nearly half your tribe floundered. We get to the immunity challenge and Pasu beats you by a large margin. What’s the quickest way to turn this tribe around?

I think the quickest way to turn the tribe around is to have better communication skills or just try working together as a tribe. I know this is difficult given we aren’t meeting in person but I think it’s possible that we can win these challenges.

2. The tribe camp has been fairly quiet thus far. Does that indicate all of the chatter is going on in private or is this a tribe that is not terribly talkative?

It could. If not, then we all have to step up more. Or it could be a little bit of both, really.

BEN,

1. You told everyone “don’t request the idol, no good for us to go down two members”. Do you think everyone abided by that or do you believe that there are people who sabotaged this challenge?

I like to have enough faith in my fellow tribemembers to have the common sense not to grab for the cookie jar this early. Especially after Nick quit, we couldn’t afford to be down /two/ people. I reckon it just came down to bad luck on our side of the dime.

2. You picked Nick in the School yard pick. Nick had already disappeared and first thing he announces when he gets back is that he is dropping out. What was the rationale behind choosing Nick?

There wasn’t any real rational behind my pick – I just chose him because I could spell his first name easily, haha.

JIM,

1. You didn’t do the encryption nor the application challenge. You are the only one who received a challenge strike for not completing your portion of the challenge. What do you do to convince your tribe one round in?

There is no convincing my tribe anything they know I had a rough week and things will be better next week. Even though I am new to these games and feel like I’m alone and learning everything by myself I will come back next week and do awesome.

2. Do you think people are using the information from the applications to determine who would be good allies and who are people who need to go early? Or do the applications have virtually no influence?

No I don’t think the applications have anything to do with how the game will be played out.

JONAS,

1. Is there anything you prescribe to why the camp has been quiet? Or is it just the first round and everyone is orienting themselves with the nature of the game?

I think our tribe is quiet bc it’s hard for everyone to do a tribe challenge when it was an individual choice.

2. What’s your impression of the other tribe? What do they have that you don’t?

I think the other tribe may have had more communication.

KJ,

1. You made a curious move with your application. You changed your age from 54 to 27 in between applications. Was it from not quite understanding the challenge and why did no one else on your tribe tell you that it would be easy to pick off?

Actually, it was 53. And yes. . . i obviously didn’t think you were going to put our names on them. Nobody said anything to me on our tribe. Our communication on this challenge wasn’t the greatest.

2. Will this tribe have a chance to win challenges in the future regardless of who gets eliminated? Or should this tribe vote as if you guys are in ‘mayday’ mode?

As long as we communicate we will be able to win challenges. We are NOT in Mayday mode by any stretch of the imagination.

On another note.. i think Nick quitting should suffice for our TC.

LAUREN,

1. You’re safe. You have nothing to worry about unless you give up immunity. Would you be voting differently if you did not have immunity this round? If so, why?

Wholly incorrect – I now have SO MUCH with which to concern myself, as having gained immunity makes me an asset, a threat, and most importantly, A TARGET. The key to this whole spiel is to lay low, don’t become a burden, and make enough friends up until the point where friends don’t matter (when there’s like, five or six left). I’m not using that as my strategy, per se, but historically, that seems to be the proverbial “pro move”. That being stated, hell no, I wouldn’t be voting differently – not in this early of a stage – there’s no reason for me to want to detract negative from myself, which might be the ONLY REASON why my vote would come off as questionable/odd/unexpected; my votes will be both ANALYTIC and OBJECTIVE in their casting – the tribe may, on that statement, rest assured.

2. Do you think everyone on this tribe has formed at least one alliance by this point?

I don’t think EVERYONE has…

…but it matters not what I think, for what is is what is.

SHERI,

1. You were a captain in the opening challenge and had to make a couple of difficult decisions during it. How will the decisions in the challenge impact you down the road?

Obviously it seems it would be a huge impact. THe team has to be willing to step up if for some reason I can’t. I had an extremely busy weekend all through out so it was hard for me to do anything.

2. During the challenge it seemed there wasn’t leadership role taken by anyone. How would having a leader to run the strategies of challenges affect this tribe?

It would have helped, I’m sure. That’s my fault. As I said though the weekend was so busy I had no time.

TINA,

1. The only reason you are safe this round is because you used the Medallion of Power for yourself in the encryption challenge. Any regrets to not keep it seeing you guys have struggled in the past couple challenges? And do you think that will affect your position in this game?

I think I need to do what I gotta do to stay in this game. If that means using the mop then so be it. I think we have a good tribe and this last challenge was just a little difficult for us but we will get back on track.

2. I’m pretty much out of questions at this point so you’re stuck with a rather generic one. What’s your criteria for the vote this round?

My criteria for voting is who can help get us further in the game 🙂

Okay. When you vote you will private message me. You will do so in this format:

(Logan Schmogan)

REASON: Seriously, what’s up with the confusing challenges so far? Could you, like, I dunno, make them less confusing, or like, you know, more clear? That would reeeealllllly help. It’s no wonder why Nick quit. In fact I was considering it myself. So uh, hope you go home this round. Ye lousy host.

Alright. Tina and Lauren have immunity this round unless they say otherwise. Between now and 3:30pm eastern Wednesday, it is time to vote. Oco tribe, you’re up.

JIM: *Look of shock is on Jim Read’s face as the idol is played* *As the votes are being read Jim Puts his head down*
Jim: Ok everyone good luck on the physical challenges! Oh wait there are none…. Dammit.
*Jim walks away into the darkness*

ME: Well that was a crazy opening round for you guys. A quit, an idol played, a split vote, a big challenge loss, and a delayed vote. Things are not boding well for this tribe.

Bad news: It’s only the end of round one and you are already in this condition.

Good news: There is still fifteen more rounds for you to turn things around.

CONFESSIONALS ROUND ONE

BEN,

Confessional Number 1:

So…we lost the challenge today. Bummer.

And it is a real bummer, because I did everything that I thought I was capable of in the challenge, which consisted of looking at the pattern between where someone came from and how they would logically answer their application. It got us 32 out of fourty-whatever points, so at least it worked for the ones I answered.

I’ve looked at who I can align with safely in this game, and I honestly want to align with a lot of people. There are some real nice people on this tribe, and some real hot ones as well. Part of me just wants to form an all-bro alliance with Jim-Me-Jonas-Aaron, but Aaron doesn’t trust Jonas because he’s been talking to everybody, apparently. It’s a shame to – Jonas is pretty hot, plus he swings my way. If it weren’t for Aaron I’d be off my game and probably have aligned with Jonas no questions asked.

Then again, I do have myself a four-person alliance. Me, Aaron, O Lauren and Jim. At least I have Jim, he doesn’t know a thing about the game, or ORG’s in general. Plus he’s pretty easy on the eyes, so I could get used to that. On a personal level though, me and Aaron really click. We’ve got most of the same interests, plus he has a pretty cool job. We talk and stuff, and we’ve agreed that Jonas is pretty sketchy and someone who might be going home tonight.

BIJO,

CONFESSIONAL!

1

Since I’m a little bored and not much is happening in my facebook life, rather than watching crazy videos, browsing some conceited looking people and downloading porn, I thought I have to make a confessional about the game and whatever’s in my mind right now.

SO……

ABOUT THE GAME

Yeah Yeah, This is a brand new game for me. I heard from a few people that idols work differently in this game. The Supacoowacky game. I think it’s a cool game with the application questions being that tidy and a lot of qualifying questions that’s so fun to answer. I felt like I’m auditioning for a reality gag show. a lot of fancy players love idols And it’s scary because I’m not really fond of idols. but after seeing the twist about the idols, it made me thought differently. It sounds something different. Like another flavor for idols. Sweet, we need to sacrifice something before finding that idol, as opposed to the usual spoon-feeding clues for searching an idol.
and mind you. It’s very dangerous, 3 idols in this game?
It already tastes like vanilla added with peppermint flavor topped with dried raisins and chocolate stick-o as straw. ohh, it sounds so mixed up but yeah that’s what I’m feeling right now. 3 idols in the game that can hurt or help you.
I’m no good in deciphering clues but whatever, I’ve got to try this frickinicking awesome twist, but ofcourse I have to wait for the right moment to make my move.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGES

Well, at the start of the game, where we gotta do the semi live check in process or whatsoever it is called, I was late and couldn’t attend because I’ve got a lazy ass and was sleeping the entire time the game was commencing. This time differences really turned my body clock into reverse. I sleep when the sun is high but I’m wide awake when the moon is shining.
Well, for the schoolyard pick, I’m so glad that I wasn’t able to attend because i don’t wanna be biased on the players in the game by picking the people I like.
It might give me some trouble in the future.
For the Individual Challenge, I worked my effing sexy ass to really solve that riddle. I burnt some calories in order for me to come up with a good answer, and with a little bit of help, I was able to do it.
I have high hopes for myself because I thought I was the smartest because i didn’t rely on exchanging notes with other people, and results time, I was really disappointed that I wasn’t even close at winning the individual Immunity.
I’m pissed because I can sense there’s some cross alliance going on between the Americans from our tribe and the other tribe.

Grrr….
Tribal Challenge arrived and it’s a little fancy and easy.
Since I don’t wanna be a pain in my tribe’s effing fat asses, I stepped up by trying to organize things like Posting an answer thread so we can vote for what we think the majority has to say, and doing a little talk to the players.
well, it did good for our game because my little ORGynizer helped our tribe and brought us some win. (But i think our tribe’s full of luck that’s why we won)

ABOUT MY TRIBE

I’m a little happy that I ended up with the people in my tribe. There’s Kim, Jeric, Vuitunni and Daniel who I knew from previous games but majority are new to me.
It’s a little surprising because early in the game, our tribe had a really divided atmosphere. It’s like becoming East vs West because the Asians(me, jeric and elmo) are sticking together versus the Americans. Silver, the guy who looks like a dog (well, that was his DP) started an alliance with the Asians(mind you, he is Brazilian)
he wanted to create a division early and get rid of the americans (who are currently celebrating July 4th, Yay!! Party Party! )
The others believe that there’s a cross alliance going on, but i’m not yet sure who are they, and I don’t care because alliances started this early can really make us paranoid specially if the game is not yet at its crucial point.
Ugh, hating the idea of division in our tribe but I think it could work well since our tribe isn’t a very social one.
Anyway, Kim started dragging me and Jeric into an alliance with Steph. but I didn’t answered in that thread because as I said, I’m a very meticulous person and I don’t wanna start early alliances especially if I’m not the head of the gang.
So, right now I have to watch carefully and observe how people will get tangled in this little mess i’m planning. Since we need to get the majority, it’s going to be crucial if we invite Daniel or Eric to be in our alliance because they might disagree and join Vuitunni’s army, so I’m planning to get rid of them soon since Daniel and Eric aren’t very active anyway so I need to get the consensus of the tribe…
bu so far, my eye’s on Vuit’s. I want him out because he is the leader of our tribe. Being a leader grants him the priveledge of spying unto someone who requested for the HII. Since I already said that I’m planning on getting my hands on that twisted idol, i don’t need someone spying on my additional homework. But we’ll see what will happen in the future. This is still the first round anyway.

P.S.
I’m done talking now so whatever. Imma give myself some milk while watching Puss in Boots the movie.
meow!

JONAS,

Can I have the idol?

KIM,

CONFESSIONAL 1

ok, so i thought i would go ahead and do this now, because a lot has happened, well sort of and if anymore time goes on i will forget thangs.
i sort of jump around a bit and when i have lots to type i say f*** capitalization so just sort of nod your head and deal wiff it. [:)]
another thing, i need to know if you make confessionals public because if so, i need to tone my s*** down. karl and mervin raped me because well after i was out of the game karl messaged me “kim can i use your confessionals?”, “well, were they bad?” “no” , “ok, sure” and OMFG, they were horrendous and i had just forgotten so i sort of need to know how you do the whole thing.

I’ll start with vuittoni. i have no idea what’s up with this cat. when darian did the slammy’s there was a bit of controversy with my getting votes for best black org player of the year. he would pop into the thread and quietly say “but im really black” and that would be all, he would go on about his business, whatever the hell his business was. i have no idea who the guy was, if i had gamed with him before or what, but he was, for some reason on my friends list. ok, whatever no harm. so again i had gotten a few more votes, then again with the “im really black” thing. so i took my profile pic to paint and literally use the spray praint button and blacked my face and came back and said “ok, its legit now” or something to that effect. nothing more was said. turns out i got the slammy.
moving on..but still with this vuittoni cat…

it has been an ongoing joke with karl marquez, mervin, cirie fields and myself that i am a strong black woman. this comes from one of lehocki’s fake profile games and since that time we would all harass folks from the cirie account. ok, it was f***ing hysterical and believe me when i tell you that karl and mervin are mean as hell, just in the closet about it. ok, obviously this vuittoni is in several groups that we are all in where something has been said, and i have responded with “i am a strong black woman, and i will not stand for this” or “thank gahd i am a strong black woman”
well, out of nowhere in the b**** group this f***er wants to make a comment and i just happened to see it. dont know if you caught it or not but here it is

ok, alllll that now your game starts, eh? i see that vuittoni is in it. then i start trippin. omg omg omg. because believe it or not, i do trip out. HAHA sooooo
the people that i know aside from the basic run of the mill orgers are stephanie a bit from some off site gaming, eric from whispers, and WHO tha f*** is silver revlis? see i dislike his a** because of his name and that damn wolfdog in his profile pic. Aaron from Pos, seems shady, im not sure how i know nick but i’ve played somewhere with him before seems like jonas too.

also kj and i made up which in itself is historical. she loves it that in the past 3 months that i’ve booted her 7/7 games. granted im not the only f***er that votes her but im the only one that gets brutally attacked. so i figure that if i accept her apology and be goody with her again that it will MAKE HER INSANE WHEN I BOOT HER FROM THIS B**** AS WELL. hahahaha i joke. nah, i do not. we’ll wait and see. i might need her, hell i might get the boot early as crazy as the fools have been acting. oh, see there i go again..what was i talkin bout?

oh yeah, vuittoni.. so when you started with the challenge, he was all buddy buddy with me. it was stuhRANGE! but so far, he is the only person communicating and that i feel like i have some type of bond and trust with. now i do some with stephanie, but like other games with her, she is hit and miss. its like i trust her but i can’t completely count on her as far as being around. and to me, i need to know someone is gonna show up for things. i know that things happen, but i need you to respond to messages or i start getting noid. when i get noid i get mad. when i get mad, well, you know. i show my ass and never make it past final 5 cus i lose my s***. [:/]

also i had a nice long message from my lovely bijo. wanting to align. BOY, I KNOW HOW YOU BE DOIN!! but you dont know how i be doin. but you gunna learn, you gunna learn TUH-DAY. shhhh! because ofcourse I have really agreed with him.

But, with no one responding or wanting to play this f***ing game, i dont know what to think.. Im all pumped and eveyone else, just sittin on their f***in a**es waiting for a save i guess.

Ok, all kidding aside, i have decided to gather all the members of this cast and re-enact human centipede 2.

oh and another thing i forgot to add and then i’ll shut the f*** up, if tinaf***ingwarren and i stick around we plan to keep passing this medallion back and forth between eachother. why? because its f***in funny. i noticed where bijo said in out tribe something about using the medallion. well, maybe b****, but thats my call. right? YES. i need to go post in there what i think about that before i fo- get.

SILVER,

Day whatever Confessionals:

My purple tribe! I hope we lost!

omg, i’m in the first tribe ever made all by turtles [-_-]
nobody has opinion, nobody cares, they are all lazy and bland!
I’m in a tribe with a bunch of Purple Kellys!

I made an alliance with Bijo, but pfff not sure any more.
My true ally is Elmo, so i need to talk to him, we need to flip and vote out bijo and jeric, the pino alliance! @_@
i’m saying that because they don’t care about this game, they are all super bland people, Steph, Vuittoni, Daniel, Bijo, Jeric! ALL BLANDS! ALL suck! Please where’s the merge so i can at least be voted out for some people who actually are playing this game for real!
I like Kim right now, she’s the only one that a see interested in this game 100%! I have to make an alliance with her!
right now i’m furious with this dumb tribe!

STEPHANIE,

I would like to have the idol for my tribe please?

If I can. I would like to have it but I I cant then I understand.

TINA,

CONFESSIONAl #1
So to be honest I really dont talk to anyone on my tribe..Ocassionaly KJ I suppose. I dont even know half the people. Anyways Kim and I have a plan to just keep sharing the Medallion of Power, if it goes the way we planned it will be pretty f***ing hilarious..hahaha. I just need to help my team to win immunity so we dont have to vote people out. Hopefully im safwe this time but you nevert know

BLOG ROUND ONE

OPENING DAY 2012

And here we are. What seemed like such a grind to find applicants for about ten days turned into about twenty people scrambling to send in their application right around the deadline. Some people sent in their application hours or a couple days late. If you want to apply next season make sure you apply prior to the deadline! It’s your best way to guarantee yourself a seat.

But after two people missed qualifying we have our cast of eighteen. Some said they would be somewhat unavailable or could only access the game from their phone before July 1st. Therefore, to accomodate everyone I had two individual challenges play out before July 1st. After that the tribal immunity challenge would take place that would ensure all eighteen play. Those who were eager to play had their needs met and those who wanted the game to pause before starting were not at a disadvantage.

Oh right. The challenge. I decided to not do an encryption for once this year. After last season when everyone shared their codes with each other I feel like the players knew how to outsmart the challenge. So we came up with a trivia elimination game that was directly copied from the first Survivor ORG that I won. I asked everyone to check in which only had eight people respond. Two minutes into the challenge I swear nearly the rest of the cast showed up. I suppose everyone wanted nothing to do with standing out by winning a reward on round one. I don’t blame them because those who win the opening challenge have been early exits with the exception of Dave Bronson. Trends indicate you are better to be in the background at the beginning.

SHERI MAKES ENEMIES INSTANTLY

Dang. Sheri was forced to make tough decisions early. All because she actively participated in a challenge. I hate it when few people play in the challenge and someone ultimately starts off on the wrong foot all because of the fact they participated. “Screw over Tina or Silver?” “Screw over Kim or Vuittoni?” You form two great allies but on the other hand you make two enemies. Or maybe Tina nor Vuittoni appreciate the gesture and screw you anyway. If this were the SURVIVORNASDAQ, everyone would be selling their Sheri stock.

MEDALLION OF POWER

I am shocked to see people declare that the Medallion of Power is their least favourite Survivor twist of all time. It boggles my mind that Redemption Island nor a Final 3 are unanimously voted on as the two worst twists Survivor ever implemented. But the Medallion of Power? A twist that lasted four rounds and barely scratched the surface of the game? I always found it to be a twist that production had no idea what to do with it. It’s like a production meeting that was half finished.

PROBST: Wanna do this thing called a Medallion of Power? It gives you advantages at rewards and immunities.
PRODUCER: Go on.
PROBST: And uh, we offer it on the first day. And we’ll have it play for a few rounds then take it away. It’s won by a tribe.
PRODUCER: HEY LOOK AT THAT BEAR!
(Everyone looks in awe of the bear.)
PROBST: So uh, what was I saying?

So for this season I formulated a Medallion of Power the way it should have been. If it works out well the twist will likely carry over to future seasons. If the experiment doesn’t work out then hey at least I tried. I contemplated giving out one Medallion to each tribe but limited to one. Consider it a trial run.

THE MEDALLION CLAUSE

The idea for the Medallion to not be replaceable and be eliminated whenever the possessor was voted out is a rule I came up with about a week before the game started. I was stumped with when the twist should expire or if there’s a way it can be gone when the players are fed up with it. I firmly believe I found a format that the Medallion will remain if the players want it to remain and it will go when the players want it to go.

That’s when I know a Survivor twist has worked out well.

REQUEST SPIES

The other new item debuting this game. I will admit this was inspired by the game Mafia. Specifically it was inspired by the Cop role. In Mafia, the Cop investigates who is Mafia during the night. The cop is only told if the person is mafia and nothing else. In my game, this translates to a player being told if a person requested the penalty idol or not.

Sheri and Vuittoni may not understand what they possess quite yet, but the item can be used to create an ally. You can confirm for yourself whether someone is a true tribe player or a very selfish one. It can be used as a tool to scare others into not requesting the idol for fear of being caught which lets Sheri or Vuittoni request the idol themselves without anybody else having the ability to investigate them. It leaves many strategic doors open.

Another reason why I have this twist? Season 2 nearly doubled how many people requested the penalty idol in season 1. It determined the outcome to two immunity challenges. I didn’t want penalty idol requests to be the true determinant of immunity challenges and render the immunity challenges moot. So I hope this item will make people think twice before requesting the penalty idol.

ENCRYPTION

Yeah, it may seem no different that the Encryption was the second individual challenge rather than the one on Opening Day. But there really is a difference. The encryption did not indirectly determine the tribes this season. They were already determined because of the trivia elimination challenge. So the encryption is very much an individual task and prevents people from teaming up. Unless you’re Vuittoni and Kim or Stephanie and Jonas, of course. Then you’ve got power pairs.

TINA, LAUREN, KIM, AND STEPHANIE WIN THE CHALLENGE AND IMMUNITY

All four women win immunity. Oh wait. Lauren is a male’s name for once. I don’t know if it was wise for Vuittoni to give Kim all the answers for winning immunity. Especially when him and Kim just had a huge fight in another ORG. How in the world can you two trust each other? I am expecting a big blowup down the road that will cause a crucial turning point for this season. Just a hunch but I think I’m right.

TINA USES THE MEDALLION

Tina is in no danger of going home. The first tribal immunity just ended and I still think it wasn’t the best move for her to use it on herself. Tina doesn’t have the personality to overscheme herself out of the game in the first round like KJ or be inactive like Jim. Tina was in a rock solid spot. If she held onto the Medallion the whole tribe would have likely respected her and she would not be on anyone’s radar until after the merge. I am confident about that. She was in a perfect spot to be everyone’s friend. But she threw it all away and made herself stand out as selfish.

If you were on Oco and you saw Tina give away the Medallion to the other tribe just so she could have individual immunity, would you trust her? Not as much, right? And I bet everyone on the tribe was very comfortable with her prior to the challenge. Your tribemates will not be as guilty to come after you as a target anymore because they will think they are better off eliminating someone who appears to be making connections with the opposite tribe.

Maybe I am being too critical of Tina’s move. Perhaps she will win it all and in which case I’ll shut my pie hole. But if I had to bet I’d say Tina is doomed to 12th or 13th. Using the Medallion will be a move exploited by both tribes.

NICK’S QUIT

In each of the first two seasons I had someone drop out five hours before the game. This season I had someone drop out five days into it. Here’s what happened with Nick:

1: Nick asked me if the game would start on July 1st. I said it would probably start around there given the slow nature of applications.
2: I ask him what is the absolute earliest he would want the game to start. He said he could only play using his phone until July 1st. Ben said something similar. Therefore I had the two individual challenges to whet everyone’s appetite until the tribal immunity challenge started on July 1st so Nick and Ben would not suffer any disadvantage.
3: Nick makes it through qualifying fine with only a couple days before Opening Day.
4: Nick randomly checks in on July 1st saying he has had no Internet and thought the game didn’t start until that day despite the announcement when he qualified. He quit.

Clearly Nick failed to communicate he would go without Internet until July 1st. Turns out he would have quit anyway given his reason that he didn’t want to be by a computer all summer. My apologies to the three late applicants who were ready to play but were forced to sit out because Nick robbed them of a spot. Plus it’s too bad that Nick had to waste his spot in the game like this.

It popped in my mind that I said Nick could very well troll my game. Considering he quit in the first tribal challenge I would say he succeeded. Bravo, Nick. You lived up to your role in this season.

CAMPS ARE QUIET

For some reason the tribal camps are quiet on round one. I think the newbies sit back and lurk waiting for the veterans to integrate them into camp life while the veterans adjust to the plethora of newbies who tend to flock to my series. By round three everyone will either embrace or scold each other at camp.

PASU BREAKS THE SUPA-APUS STREAK

In two seasons Apus and Supa have won a combined total of one immunity challenge out of a possible fourteen. Yikes. The first immunity challenge ends and Pasu excelled at the encryption and won the opening challenge easily. Nick came from Oco so all of a sudden we have Pasu going into round two up two members. What planet are we living on?

STEPHANIE AND JONAS

Stephanie recruited Jonas into the game. Jonas is rumoured to be a fake account. It’s a possibility but nothing I can do now that the game has started. Both request the penalty idols and both succeed. This duo are on opposing tribes with idols but they need to survive on their own before they can run this game. In addition they need to keep their connection a secret. It’s much tougher to keep an explicit duo alive deep into the game. Ask Amy and Darian, Kosek and Anton, Meagher and Ryan Flynn, and Hooker and Jaime. It never works.

OCO IS IN CHAOS

They rarely speak to each other but the online discussion community of Aaron, Jim, and Ben have an alliance (I imagine Nick was supposed to be apart of it but he quit on Ben so it no longer matters) as they are forced to work with the super vets in KJ, Sheri, and Tina. Who knows who Jonas is and who knows where Lauren fits. This isn’t a tribe designed to gel. All of them are hesitant to talk to each other. Jim is very inactive but is currently being propped up by Aaron and Ben. The experience of the veterans has taught them to sit back on round one and not stick out. Aaron and Ben are stuck doing the challenge on their own without consultation with the others. Who knew this would lead to a slaughter of their tribe in the challenge and an easy loss. The veterans were stubborn and refused to stick out. Unfortunately when the challenge ends one of them sticks out big time.

KJ LIVES UP TO MY PREDICTION

I said pre-game that you needed to play slower. Let the rookies get to know you and form good relationships with everyone on your tribe. Build yourself your cult. Unite the tribe. It’s what I said in my pre-game assessment.

Did you listen?

Nope. A vote that was ready to be Jonas by Ben, Aaron, and Jim all changed their target to KJ because she was being aggressive.

I know KJ is reading this. I know she is surprised to see how much I disagree with the stragies she has used with newbies lately. But hey, that’s what makes this blog fun, right? No one has any idea I am thinking this behind the scenes.

Not even Brian Whitehead. And he’s a pretty sharp guy.

If KJ gets voted out, I will no doubt see “How can they vote out an active player before someone like Jim”.

The answer KJ? Because violating a tribe’s social rules trumps an inactive player. Openly presenting your alliances and scheming makes players think you will add people into your alliance from the opposing side. Therefore Ben and Aaron will do whatever they can to keep themselves and the tribe afloat. Working against them is viewed as dooming the tribe.

All Jim doing is blindly following what his tribe does. Someone like Jim will never flip or incorporate people from the opposing tribe into this game. It’s why people like Ryan Flynn and Marcelo Campos stay alive to sixth place. It appears they are not participating but in all actuality are extremely good “yes men”. And sometimes “yes men” are the best insurance you can have in this game.

JIM SHOULD BE GONE

Jim didn’t do the encryption nor did he participate in the first immunity challenge. In the first round you should always aim for the inactive. No matter what. If you’re not fired up round one you will likely never have that fire for the entire game.

In fact it looked like Jim’s dismissal would be a no brainer. Apus made the same move last season where they eliminated Wesley which made their tribe be much more competitive against a very active tribe like Coo. Hopefully Oco doesn’t pull a Supa and eliminate their MVP of the challenge (Ben).

JONAS MAKES A MOVE

He has the idol in round one. I make it clear idols are not re-hidden. Nobody has EVER played an idol earlier in round seven. In fact only one idol has been played earlier than seven players remaining (including the prequel season).

Then the bombshell comes. I am currently writing this at the end of episode two, but this idol could very well have a huge impact on how this season plays out.

He plays it in round one. Let’s analyze that first. In my opinion, the following are instances when you should play the idol pre-merge:

a) The other people on your tribe have made it clear they want to vote you out.

That’s it. See Tom Westman in Heroes vs. Villains. Not even Russell’s idol play in Heroes vs. Villains was a smart move because all he did is alienate himself from everyone else on the Villains tribe. How many votes did you get at Final Tribal Council, Mr. Hantz?

That’s what I thought.

Usually there is a reason why it is extremely rare for people to play an idol pre-merge. In Survivor, and especially my series, the two tribes never mingle with each other nor form any cross alliances. Therefore you need any advantage you can get prior to a merge.

And what would that be?

Your tribe’s freakin’ hidden immunity idol. There’s a reason why Brett, Adam, Gayle, Eamon, Brian, Noah, Marty, Elvera, and those who have fake ones like Shyam, Leif, Marcelo, Lisa, and RyLis all carry it to merge. Because that is when you make your move to ensure your tribe has the numbers advantage once and for all.

So sinking your tribe’s idol in round one better be to save your own skin.

But it wasn’t.

Now let’s analyze the second part of that move. Jonas playing the idol on SOMEBODY ELSE. The exact opposite of saving yourself. Ben and Aaron wanted to trust Jonas but found out he had been talking to everyone. Their instincts were right. Jonas jumped ship and played the idol on KJ.

So now Jonas has split his tribe in half. In one camp you have those he betrayed (Ben, Aaron, and Lauren) and in the other camp you have those he didn’t betray (Tina, KJ, and Sheri). Good luck keeping your tribe united. The only way Jonas stays afloat post-merge is if he helps Ben and Aaron out with a couple votes in a Dreamz-like fashion and will confuse everyone else in the game so much that he is bound to make it to the end.

Make it to the end? Yes. Win? Never.

LAUREN’S DELAY

Well this was a nightmare. Ugh. I never thought this would happen. It was the one TC voting rule I never had in place.

What happens if someone with immunity does not vote and there is no one on the tribe who they have voted for yet?

Answer for season 3: No freaking idea.

I couldn’t implement any major rule because it would be unfair. Any significant rules need to be in place pre-game and available for everyone to read. That’s what they’re there for. It’s not a game to see how long it is before you fall asleep reading them.

They are there to ensure the game is being followed properly and nothing unfair happens.

So what do I do for this scenario? I didn’t think it would happen because in order to have immunity you need to be active. Therefore if you are active, you would be able to vote.

But somehow Lauren is gone for three days. I couldn’t stop delaying the game anymore. Luckily Nick quit so I could afford to have patience and not worry about being off schedule.

So we wait. And wait. And wait. . .and wait.

What happens?

Nothing. All I could think of to do was have it as a self-vote. I didn’t want a self-vote when it’s a 4-3 situation and that eighth vote could make all the difference. But luckily if it was a 4-4 tie, KJ’s idol would result in everyone voting out Jim in the re-vote.

Unless Ben, Aaron, and Lauren wanted to vote KJ in the re-vote and have a new TC between the three of them and Jim. You would need a desperate sacrificial lamb to not change their vote when the person involved in the tie has played an idol. Think about it. 😛

KJ SURVIVES

It was a very divided 4-3-1 vote but KJ’s aggressive gameplay barely keeps her head above the sand and Jim is ultimately sunk. What a rough first round for Oco. None of them do well in the encryption, Nick quits, they lose immunity, Lauren delays the game two days, Jonas betrays half the tribe, the tribe’s idol is played, and the vote comes out 4-3-1.

How does a tribe recover from that? Could they be the next Supa and be down 10-1 and be conquered rather than merge? Or can this extremely disjointed tribe pull together immediately following a harsh TC? We shall see. I could see it going both ways.

JIM EXIT INTERVIEW

And you were the first to fall. Why not take the time to reflect on your limited time within the game?

1. This was your first ORG. Traditionally newbies have done very well in my games. Where is it that you think you failed?

2. You essentially missed out on every challenge. What do you think was the biggest factor in why you didn’t participate?

3. The vote came down 4-3-1. Was there anyone who you were counting on to be the fourth vote in your favour? Or was the voting bloc that you had only consist of three people?

4. What was the best part about this game? Even though you lasted only one round.

5. Why did KJ receive your vote?

6. Was there any speculation of whether or not Jonas had the idol? And in addition that he would play it on the exact person you were trying to eliminate?

7. Do you think Lauren refused to commit to a side? Or was he truly unavailable?

8. Let’s say Lauren votes with you and KJ’s idol forces you,Lauren, and the other two people who voted KJ to stay behind for a new TC. Who would have been voted out amongst the four of you?

9. Was there any reason for why Aaron picked you to be on his tribe? Or was there a deal in place beforehand?

10. How did Nick quitting during the first challenge affect how the rest of the round played out? Would he have been on your side?

11. Who do you think will be voted out next? Who do you want to be voted out next? Who do you think will win? Who do you want to win?

12. Any other thoughts, please share.

On behalf of the production crew of SupaCooWackyLand, we thank you for playing this game!

It was never filled out. 😦

EPISODE TWO

Immunity Challenge II: Co-Ordinated Attack & Gamble

Inspired By: A more straightforward and less insanity driven version of the infamous challenge we did last season where topics exceeded 4, 000 posts.

July 5 – July 9

Voted Out: Lauren Strudwick

Vote Count: 6-1

TRIBAL COUNCIL #2

(AARON)-(BEN)-(JONAS)-(KJ)-(LAUREN)-(SHERI)-(TINA)
XXX
(NICK)-(JIM)

You MUST answer your TC questions for your vote to count.

AARON,

1. Let’s pick up where we left off at the last Tribal Council. Aaron, you guys had one of the most split pre-merge Tribal Councils I have seen. Do you think the segregation in how you guys vote ultimately segregates you guys in other aspects of the game?

It may seem that way but I think we’d all like to get along whether or not you’re in the same alliance with someone.

2. What was your reaction to Jonas playing an idol?

Surprised

BEN,

1. You were out celebrating your 19th birthday during the challenge. If you get voted out, do you think celebrating your birthday should be a factor?

I hope not – it’s not every day you turn 19, and I had a lot to celebrate – almost a year away from school, landing my first job this week, and so forth. It sucks that I had some real life obligations that had to come before this game, but that’s how them chips fall, I guess.

2. What kind of message does it send when someone plays the tribe’s idol in the pre-merge phase?

Well it sends the message that unless they actually explain why, it’s giving off the impression that they’re playing the game way too early.

JONAS,

1. It’s a big move to play your idol in the first round. It’s an even bigger move to play it on somebody else. Has anybody approached you about why you played your idol?

I think it was a risk I had to take due to the fact someone was going to get screwed when they didn’t need to buy no one has said much.

2. What do you think the effects of playing your idol will be?

I feel like flowers are pretty.

KJ,

1. I’d be lying if I didn’t say you guys look miserable at camp since the start of the game while Pasu seems to be on the up and up. Do you think a sombre mood at camp can contribute to a tribe performing poorly in challenges?

Thanks for being so negative in the questions BTW. Like we said last time, communication needed to be stepped up and not many people listened.

2. Do you think reading comprehension has proven to be the most valuable skill in challenges? Or is it that Pasu having everyone involved allows them to perform well while fewer voices participating on this tribe is the key to your guys’ failures thus far?

Well, I don’t think it’s reading comprehension at all. I didn’t get online for quite a few hours after the challenge was posted and i messaged you for clarification but you werent online. I then talked to someone else on my tribe who is by no means, Intelligence challenged and they too had questions. Nobody else on our tribe was online to talk to. I honestly think it was the “Hosts CHOICE of wording that messed this challenge up for us” If you look up topic in the dictionary it says “A subject of discussion or conversation” What you meant it for was a thread for us to comment on that had NO subject of discussion or conversation. So.. Sheri and I finally just started posting anything to see what we could do for our tribe.

So, it’s a combination of inaccurate wording in the instructions and lack of participation of our tribe. The participation level is pretty pathetic.

LAUREN,

1. You ended up self-voting after you went missing for a few days. Is everything alright?

Everything’s alright with me, yes – I just got caught up in life – apologies to my tribe.

2. Last tribal we talked about this tribe not doing well with communication. Clearly that is still the problem. Will it be fixed anytime soon?

Not unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary; I believe that what is going on is a combination of individual members being confident in their ability to survive based on their challenge performances and/or general competence, and an overall unfamiliarity with each other within our particular tribe – we’ll band together when the situation gets severe enough to warrant such a maneuver…

…I hope.

SHERI,

1. Pasu had their wager a couple of hours after I posted the challenge, and had their game plan set up over 12 hours before the challenge began. On the other hand you guys waited until three hours INTO the challenge before making a wager, and less than six hours remained when you guys wanted certain things clarified. You were the only one to step up and make a wager, and voice your frustation that nobody blocked.

Do you this tribe is full of procrastinators? And do you think procrastination will continue to hold your tribe back?

I’ll be honest I think it’s full of inactive people. There’s not a whole lot I can do to change that. People just have to be active.

2. Was there any discussion as a tribe to talk out the 4-3-1 vote? Or has this tribe been ultimately giving each other the silent treatment?

If you’re inactive you’re not going to be communicating much either so there’s been a huge lack of communication. I don’t know whether that’s intentional or just lack of activity.

TINA,

1. We ran this same challenge last season where Apus and Ooc did well. This season Pasu did extremely well. Yet your tribe is the only one to flounder in the challenge. What do you take away from this challenge to improve the tribe in the future?

What we must take away from this challenge is that we need better communication. We have to make sure everyone who wants to be here is stays in the game. I think we have the drive we just need to talk it out

2. After this round you guys go down to six members. Never before has a tribe lost three people in the first two rounds. How important is it for you to get the tribe to vote in the best way possible?

Its important for us to keep people that want to stay in the game and can help keep our tribe strong.

When you vote please do so in the following manner:

VOTE: (Logan Berry)

REASON: I am voting you off because of your challenges. Ironically, this is the clearest sentence you have typed all season! GTFO. And use a basic English language for crying out loud.

From now until 9:30pm eastern Monday, it is time to vote. Oco tribe, you’re up.

TRIBAL COUNCIL VOTING

AARON,

(Jonas)

You backstabbed me. Thanks for ruining the fun for my summer.

BEN,

Vote: (Lauren)

Consider this a gift.

JONAS,

KJ,

VOTE: (Lauren Strudwick)

REASON: I am voting you off for two reasons. First, you suck in participation in the group and in the actual challenges and secondly, you are who my alliances has chosen to go. Nuf said.

SHERI,

Anyhow, my vote is for (Lauren.)

TINA,

(Lauren)

ok i vote Lauren..yeah of course thats cool

Lauren, ’tis time for you to go.

So you’ve lost three people in two rounds. That’s nothing to celebrate about. But what you CAN celebrate about is you have taken the opportunity to eliminate your two most inactive players. In addition, you guys have gone from a 4-3-1 vote to a virtual unanimous vote.

The future looks very bright for this tribe and it appears it is only a matter of time before you win immunity. I highly doubt you’ll copy Supa from season 1. And maybe a fun immunity challenge is just the thing to turn this game around. Pardon me, am I rambling? Head back to camp already!!!!

CONFESSIONALS ROUND TWO

BEN,

Confessional 2 (pretend it’s before the challenge):

So…Jonas betrayed us, and Jim went home.

I am so incredibly lost as to the happenings of this game right now I’m going in slow motion while everyone else is driving a Ferarri. Jonas deliberately ignored my plea and stuck his hand in the cookie jar, taking the idol, then getting rid of Jim, who I was probably going to take to the finals.

And yet despite all of that, I think it’s in my best interest to align with him. He may be a deceptive lying backstabbing liar person, but wouldn’t you want one of those on your side rather than against you?

I’m gonna do everything I can to charm my way into his good graces and keep myself alive in this game.

Confessional 3:

So the challenge was a complete blowout. We lost worse than I’ve ever lost before. I could probably add that it’s my fault, but it was my birthday! I’m 19 years old! I have a life! Did they not think I’d be out?

Right now I think it’s damage control time. Suck up to everyone. Put on the crocodile tears if the need be. Speak to Jonas, make sure he keeps me in the game somehow, if he does have the power. I want to stay in here and make it as far as possible. If I can do that, it can’t be that hard to pull up my big-girl panties and get our team together. If they’ll give me the chance, I think I can do it. I can do anything I put my mind to, isn’t that how the old saying goes?

KIM,

ok, im gonna use it and hand it back over to tinaf***ingwarren.

(the medallion) im not fully awake yet.

NO IM NOT…………I AM NOT USING IT YET.

KJ,

You never posted our topic. There was so much confusion in this challenge and we were WAITING FOR YOU TO POST THE TOPIC FOR US TO BEGIN.

FINALLY SHERI AND I JUST STARTED TO POST

BULL—*

WHAT WAS THE TOPIC?

stop talking to me publically.. talk to me here

wtf?

a TOPIC denotes something specific to talk about

a THREAD is what you post anything in

I find it interesting that someone who had done this before had no f***ing clue what to do.. And in the future can you please use terms we all understand? It’s hard enough to try and read your challenges and understand them.

i f***ing hate my tribe

and i hate that we had a quitter AND had to go to TC

I really thought this game was gonna be fun but im on the most pathetic tribe EVER

Even, Sheri who has done this challenge before.. didn’t know what to do

Well.. the dictionary defines topic as A subject of discussion or conversation

So we were waiting for a TOPIC

even sheri who had no clue and has done this before with you

SHERI,

I’ll have a confessional sometime today because I’m not happy at all with the way that last challenge went, and to hear that you were basically calling us stupid sort of pissed me off so as a host you don’t call you’re players stupid to their face. If you’re going to be a dick you do it behind the scenes.

SILVER,

so, magically our tribe start to work.
I’m fine with them all, well, steph is just sunbathing her ass out here, she’s a ghost @_@

i love kim, she’s such a sweet person. I wanna be in an alliance with her, but i will have to break others alliances by doing this. Sounds COOL! @_@ HAHA! I have to talk to elmo to see what he thinks.

BLOG ROUND TWO

BEN AND AARON SCRAMBLE

What a rough spot for these two to be in. KJ openly plotted against them. Their allies happened to be the quitter Nick, the inactive Jim, and the only other inactive Lauren.

It is a tough place to recover from. Do I think they will ultimately recover? No. Will one of them recover? Possibly. I could see one going just because ‘two can control this game’ but Aaron or Ben isolated? Much less of a threat.

Who do I think will recover? Ben. He was more active in the first challenge and is willing to suck up to everyone. The only reason he missed last round’s challenge is because he was celebrating his 19th birthday. Aaron on the other hand seem to be falling out of this game. I sense him losing interest. Ben constantly sends me confessionals while I am lucky to get more than a line from Aaron.

I thought Aaron would be dead if Oco loses. Unless Lauren is completely AWOL. However the Lauren mystery from last round ended quickly.

LAUREN RE-APPEARS

After a three-day absence he returns. Not entirely sure from where but I didn’t ask. I attempted to ask Vuittoni because him and Lauren are real life friends but I received no response.

Whatever. It’s a personal issue. This blog is about my insight. Not to delve into the personal lives of all eighteen players. I get it. Future note to players who wish to disappear on me: Let me know ahead of time instead of leaving me worried about you. We just had a plane crash in town and I would rather like to avoid any of my players being bit by a disaster.

So now that Lauren is here Aaron better be putting everything he has into the next immunity challenge.

CHALLENGE REVISION FROM LAST SEASON

Yep. This is the challenge where Dave posted 4, 000 times in a 30 hour period. I made three significant changes for this challenge:

1) Topics were limited to 100 comments. Therefore any ability to spam was eliminated.

2) Instead of each PLAYER submitting a wager, each TRIBE submitted a wager. This made things far less confusing. Now the tribe just had to complete their wager to win. Limits the strategy but the confusion needed to be eliminated.

3) Instead of dividing the tribe into 4 vs. 4 and 3 vs. 3 as two separate attack topics, it was simply 7 vs. 7.

With these three changes I thought a challenge that played relatively smoothly last season would be extremely smooth like a mothaf—er this season.

But I was wrong.

Very wrong.

CHALLENGE DOESN’T PLAY OUT THE WAY I WANTED IT TO

Pasu asked questions and submitted their wager within the first four hours. They started attacking five hours into the challenge. All seven of them plus Bijo discussed the challenge together.

Oco asked no questions and submitted their wager three hours AFTER the challenge began (Approximately 21 hours after Pasu submitted their wager). Only Tina and Sheri discussed the challenge. KJ had no idea what was going on. And I’m not exactly sure what Aaron was doing. Lauren participated a little.

When was I certain who would win this challenge?

When it was time to attack. Whoever is organized earlier in this type of challenge has always won in my series. Whichever tribe waits until the deadline, or dare I say after the deadline, to do the challenge have never won. So when Pasu had their game plan together for half a day and Oco remained silent it was pretty apparent what would happen.

To see Oco organize themselves three hours after an intense challenge like that has already started was complete chaos to witness. Here is what I think transpired:

a) KJ copied the summary and pasted it into camp. Found the instructions to be too different from challenges she has played before.

b) Sheri was busy. Only read the summary. Therefore she missed out on a couple crucial details.

c) Aaron and Lauren are new to ORGs so they don’t understand this type of challenge and hope the veterans will help them. Plus pissed that Jim is gone.

d) Ben and Tina were busy.

Feel free to correct me but I am fairly certain this is what occurred. These four factors are a recipe for disaster. And a disaster it was.

Pasu essentially won the challenge three hours into the attack phase by being virtually unchallenged and Oco couldn’t put together an attack until 500am which was blocked by many Pasu members anyway.

So Pasu wins immunity. But that was just the beginning for the challenge fallout.

AM I BEING MORE CONFUSING THAN USUAL?

I don’t really think so. Pasu did fine with it. Apus and Ooc did fine with it too last season. I personally believe that Oco suffered from waiting until it was too deep in the challenge and the panic set in for them to quite understand it.

However, this challenge will likely not be used again. I don’t feel entirely comfortable with a challenge that is this intense early on in the game. Maybe I’ll drop the wager part of it. I don’t know. It needs a new flavour to it. That’s for sure.

CONTROVERSY WITH KJ

Nobody knows about this but KJ and I had a discussion regarding the challenge. What you guys saw when the challenge was over is KJ arguing over the semantics of “Topic” vs. “Thread”. I have always said “topic” in three seasons and my prequel. I don’t even examine myself saying “topic” when I send out an announcement regarding the game. A “topic” is a “topic” like you see on a message board. There are very few places in cyberspace that use the term “thread”. I think it’s more of the new hip term in techno talk.

But what also occurred is KJ messaging me that I didn’t answer any of her questions regarding the challenge.

I’d like to clear this up. Prior to the attack phase I was on waiting for people to clarify details about the challenge. I slept for few hours and stayed by my computer all day for the sole purpose to ensure this challenge would run smoothly. The ‘attack’ phase begins and I stay by my computer for another five hours to wait for Oco to get going. When I posted the challenge and instructions I mention multiple times to clarify the challenge with me immediately. Pasu listened. Oco didn’t.

So I was on the computer until about 2:00am eastern waiting for Oco to message me knowing they have to mount an attack at some point. This is past the time in the challenge where Pasu racked up all of their points unopposed, and Oco had yet to post. At around 230am and only 5.5 hours remaining in the challenge, I go to bed frustrated I wasted my whole day waiting for Oco.

I wake up ninety minutes before my first day at a job ever to post the results of the challenge. There is one lone message from KJ saying somewhere along the lines of “what are we supposed to do?”

Five hours before the challenge is in the books and NOW you guys ask for clarifying details? When it’s 300am eastern and you guys know full well I was online for about twelve hours to make myself available for you guys to consult with me? I posted the results and go on to call it the biggest landslide.

Then KJ yells me about ‘topic’ vs. ‘thread’. Then yells at me about not making myself available (which by the end of this game and past players is a laughable suggestion), and that Sheri has done this challenge with me before (which isn’t true because I have only played one ORG ever with Sheri).

I respond to KJ’s points calmly. I know KJ wasn’t really attacking me nor was I attacking her in my response. There was no need for it. I understood KJ was frustrated that her tribe didn’t do well in the challenge. That was more in play if anything. Pasu did a ridiculously good job while Oco floundered. Would anyone on Oco be happy after that challenge? Of course not. In fact I would be amazed if Oco wasn’t pissed and yelling at me after such a loss.

It’s funny because people outside of the cast tried to coax out of me what exactly happened with Oco and I refused to budge. There is one amusing part to this story:

Literally ten minutes after dealing with KJ, I had my first shift as an employee ever. And I was nervous as heck. Nothing better than to have a player yell at you for something you organized only to be forced to clear your mind ready to work without being distracted. So the answer to “Describe your first day of work?” it would be “Woke up to a 50 year old woman screaming at me during an online Survivor game I hosted followed by not knowing how to tie my apron and violating every safety rule regarding ladders and boxes, and had people eye me weirdly as I read manga during my lunch break”.

I’ll tell that to my grandchildren when they are sixteen.

OUTLOOK ON UPCOMING TRIBAL COUNCIL

Aaron or Ben. Because Lauren miraculously was one of three people on oco to participate in the challenge. Who will suffer from the guillotine?

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO TRIBES

There is a clear difference in how the tribes behave at camp. Oco frequently trashes each other in confessionals while Pasu has refrained from doing so. A tribe that points fingers and casts blame is doomed to put themselves in a mindframe of losing. I think that’s why when Oco loses they can conveniently say “well we should blame ____ because this tribe sucks.”

I doubt Pasu would do the same, or if they did, nowhere near the extreme that Oco has done to begin the game. Plus it doesn’t hurt that Pasu is extremely active and cheerful at camp.

CONTROVERSY WITH SHERI

I received a message from Sheri during this round that I called the tribe idiots. She said someone else told her I called the tribe idiots. As I write this blog I cannot figure out for the life of me what I said or who I said it to that would be construed as me making fun of the Oco tribe.

How did I address it? I told Sheri there is no way I would say such a thing and proceeded to post a message for everyone in the game to read that in general there is no way I would be insulting the players to them or behind their backs. In addition, I didn’t want to say who messaged me or who I suspected spread that I thought Oco were idiots.

What do I think happened? Somebody on Pasu wanted to mind f— with Oco while they are still down. It’s a wise strategy. Oco is up against Pasu. They are up against the challenges. And against me if they choose to believe the rumour.

WILL LAUREN VOTE?

I thought he would. I thought skipping the vote would be a one time thing for Lauren.

WHAT HAPPENED TO LAUREN?

It’s his first game. Too overwhelming? Indecisiveness? No idea how he managed to vote himself twice and essentially eject himself from the game regardless of participating and even winning in the challenges.

THE VOTES ARE IN AND OCO HAS VOTED. . .

Aaron rogue voted Jonas. I guess Jonas completely screwing him over didn’t leave him too happy of a state and wanted to use it as a subtle warning shot to the other players to not trust Jonas. For the time being it is irrelevant as every player voted out Lauren. Wise decision. The only player to self-vote is gone. Oco should be much more competitive in challenges now that their three most inactive members are gone. The Quitter, The Non-Participator, and The Self-Voter.

MUSICAL DEBUT

Yeah. I took it to the next step this season. I was in the mood to incorporate music into TCs to present the mood that was in my mind for each round. It may be limited to this season alone because of how much time I have on my hands thanks to no school

DID JONAS GET THE MESSAGE?

I doubt it. Jonas likely thinks he can win and has done nothing wrong. Personally I feel Jonas will be in for a big surprise down the road and realize that the move to flip on Ben and Aaron will be an enormous mistake in hindsight.

WHERE IS STEPHANIE?

She has an idol. It’s like she just wanted to take the idol and bolt. Never has a player in possession of the hidden immunity idol disappeared. Typically the player with the idol in my games is playing the hardest of anyone in the cast. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is eliminated with the idol in her pocket at Pasu’s first TC. The question is how much can Pasu win to make Stephanie playing an idol a foregone conclusion?

OCO DOWN THE ROAD

I think they’ll win the next challenge. Everybody on Oco is active. They know they suck at communicating and therefore it should be fixed for next round. I am banking on an Oco win and make the two tribes slightly more even. Add in a bit of inactivity on Pasu and I think the strangeness and bumpy road of the first couple rounds will be over.

THE BEST MAZE YET

Yeah. I am smitten regarding the creation for my next maze. It is the clearest and best maze I have made all series. So utterly excited about it. 🙂

LAUREN EXIT INTERVIEW

So you’re gone. Bummer. Perhaps let out all of your anger as I ask you an excessive number of questions!
1. If I recall correctly, this is your first ORG. Was it overwhelming to get to know seven people in so little time and build bonds with them online?

Not particularly – I figured that, eventually, natural friendships/partnerships/alliances would form all on their own – I thusly didn’t make any concentrated effort to actively forge any.

2. How did you do so dang well at encryptions? It was almost like you had done it before.

Deductive reasoning goes a long way.

3. You answered your TC question both rounds but failed to vote. . .both rounds. If you hadn’t been voted out, you would have been ejected. Why exactly did you not vote either round?

Well, that was both in part to the unfamiliarity of the format and to the general run of life; the first one, I just plain forgot to do; I didn’t use Facebook for about a week – the second one, I actually had internet problems and could not use Facebook (at least here) for a little less than a week; such is life.

4. If you voted in both rounds, who would you have voted for in each round?

No clue – one might’ve been K.J., but I can’t recall any other firm or definitive choices.

5. In case no one has told you, the vote for you was 6-1 at the last TC. Were you surprised to receive all those votes despite being one of the few to play in both challenges?

Not particularly – my absences would’ve likely been a large contributing factor, or maybe I was voted off due to general conspiracy.

6. Did anyone privately message you after the first Tribal Council to ask what happened to you?

No.

7. Since you didn’t vote either round no one exactly knows where you were aligned. Set the record straight. Who were your allies, if any?

I was part of a loose alliance with Aaron, and maybe Ben and Jim…

8. Do you have anything to say regarding any of your tribe mates?

Yes – best of luck.

9. What surprised you the most about playing Survivor online in contrast with watching it on TV?

I figured the challenges would’ve been more – challenging, I guess?

10. You were picked very near the end of the tribe pick ’em. Why do you think no one bothered to pick you until there was only three players left?

If any reasons, one would be my name; the other, me being the proverbial “new kid”.

11. If Nick hadn’t quit, how would that have changed the dynamic of the tribe?

It wouldn’t have – as far as I know, at least.

12. Who do you think will be voted out next? Who do you want to be voted out next? Who do you want to win? Who do you think will win?

None of these questions pertain to me; I suppose that, naturally, I’d have wanted me to win, but that seems at this point to be highly unlikely. Otherwise, I’ve no desire for any particular individual to triumph over or be trounced by another, nor do I have any particular reason, nor the insider information and/or collective thoughts of the tribesmates to even warrant a reasonable attempt at answering who will be voted off next.

13. Any other thoughts, please share.

Many thoughts have I, yet none would, in my humble opinion, particularly pertain to this specific forum – a lot of them are centered around the impact of the discovery of the Higgs-Boson particle, the general plan of the next day, females, an upcoming SF4:AE match, and the general purpose of all of this we’ve titled as life. Farewell.

Thank you.

EPISODE THREE

Immunity Challenge III: Dance Dance Revolution Maze

Date: July 9 – July 12

Inspired By: My addiction at the time to Dance Dance Revolution.

Winner: Pasu

Voted Out: Aaron Conn

Vote Count: 5-1

TRIBAL COUNCIL #3

(AARON)-(BEN)-(KJ)-(JONAS)-(SHERI)-(TINA)
XXX
(NICK)-(JIM)-(LAUREN)

You must answer your TC questions in order for your vote to count.

AARON,

1. You guys started off this round real well. Even though you guys suffered a big loss, has there been a noticeable improvement in the tribe?

We did have better communication skills. We could’ve won.

2. You were the only person who didn’t make a move in the maze. Why should this tribe keep you when you were absent for the whole challenge?

Oh jeez…I have some explaining to do here: I’m terribly sorry to everybody that I didn’t make one post. I didn’t get any notification that Ben had posted at around 6 am. I had checked Facebook in the morning to see if there was anything new before I went to do work for the online class that I’m taking. I know this makes me a candidate to be voted off and it really makes me sad that it all came down to me. I feel really bad about this.

I think you should keep me because I can do good in the challenges when I’m able to and in the game, I can be very honest and trustworthy. I’m someone you would want to have on your side. If I did do anything in the challenge, I did set up the pairs but I had no idea it would lead to something like this. I’m terribly sorry.

BEN,

1. You made a move in the maze then waited for Aaron who never posted. Did you try messaging Aaron to figure out when you guys could post together?

I hadn’t actually checked Facebook since my last move, because I just got a job recently and I’ve been busy with that and trying not to screw it up, but the fault really falls on both of us. Him for not making a move, but also me for not taking the initiative to actually make sure he could make those moves.

2. How the heck do you vote this round? This tribe will be shrunk down to five against Pasu’s nine. What is your criteria?

It’s pretty difficult, considering that if there’s a Double TC next round none of us really have a chance of winning, and if we lose one more challenge we still don’t have a chance of winning. Right now I think there’s one of two options this tribe can take – make the tribe stronger to make sure we never lose again, or get rid of the people on the tribe who will hurt you going into a merge (if any of us even make it that is).

KJ,

1. Again the bulk of the challenge was performed by you and Sheri. On one hand you guys made an error, but on the other hand you guys were the only ones to even be in a position to make an error. How do you defend mistakes against inactivity?

A mistake well… you’re at least active. Our tribe is plagued with people that don’t “seem” to give a s*** if we win or lose. Which person is more valuable? The one who participates every challenge and made a mistake, or someone who doesnt even bother? Hmm…. yea… the ONE who participates.

2. In every season the tribes have merged with eleven. You guys will be down to five after this round. Has there been any discussion as a tribe on how to rally against Pasu?

JONAS,

1. A surprise rogue vote was cast against you last Tribal Council. Why do you think you received the vote while everyone else eliminated Lauren?

A rogue vote was surprising but I doubt that it made a huge affect.

2. You and Tina seemed to have a huge communication problem in the challenge. What is so difficult about solving the communication problem three rounds into the game? It’s something we have discussed since the first Tribal Council.

I think Tina and I had our issues but I think we all did. I think we need to have a tribe meeting.

SHERI,

1. Will the person voted out this round be surprised?

I don’t know. I have no idea. Hmmmm. I’m always surprised when I’m voted out.

2. Is there anybody in particular where voting them out would make the tribe absolutely crumble for good?

Probably KJ.

TINA,

1. Has there been any talk regarding if a switch or a mutiny will occur? Do you think everyone is praying for a switch or mutiny on this tribe?

I dont think there has been talk of that, would be cool tho.

2. Why should the tribe keep you?

They should keep me because I try as hard as I can, the last challenge was a bit difficult, mainly coz im not the sharpest tool in the box, or however that saying goes but i try lol

Alright, when you vote please do so in the following manner:

(Logan.)

REASON: The Phoenix Wright obsession is more annoying than it is fascinating. Can you like, get into something else for a change?

Between now and 3:00pm eastern Thursday (24 hours), it is time to vote. Oco tribe, you’re up.

Reason: He did NOTHING and he is close to Ben, so we’re gonna bust them up.

Vote: Aaron

Reason: Because you shared with me that you and Ben are tight from Day 1 and you did nothing in the challenge, and want a free ride. You also wanted Jonas out and I can’t have that right now.. 😦
JONAS,

Not much else to say. Either get it together as a tribe or I’ll see you back here at Tribal Council.

SHERI: See, now was that comment truly necessary, Logan? “Get it together as a tribe.” Dude… seriously. As a host, leave those opinions to yourself.

EPISODE THREE CONFESSIONALS

BEN,

Confessional:

The way I see it, the blame rests purely on me and Aaron’s shoulders. Even if KJ hadn’t f***ed up and Jonas hadn’t have f***ed up we could have done something, but…yeah.

Right now the way I see it, it’s either me or Aaron going tonight. That being said, I’m very out of the loop, so I might be way off, or I could be dead on. Either way, I don’t want to go. I’m not ready for my time in the game to be cut short so fast.

ERIC,

I’m going to request the penalty idol then…

KIM,

Im still conflicted about the whole confessional thing. I dont know that i could do fakey ones. If i did, they would have the excitement equivalent to a raisin. If i tell you all i need to tell you, then they ate gossipy and good, and yet again im the damien if the game. *sigh [:(] I have a book, yo!

do not give me instructios, fool until you address my question. then we can discuss further issues. HOKKAY LOGAN SAUNDERS??? [:)]

I dont even remeber logans. ignore me until saturday. [:)]

KJ,

sheri and i hate our f***ing tribe

f***

SHERI,

You know. I’m not even sure I know what’s going in this game. It just seems like we have such a sh***y tribe that there’s no way we can win anything. KJ and I certainly can’t handle the entire weight of each challenge, that’s obvious. I hope she didn’t mess up on purpose, I should have checked her work. I really don’t blame her though because at least we did something.

It’s just pissing me off how lazy this damn tribe is. We’re losing everything. I feel like it’s my fault because this was school yard pick but still I figured between Tina, Kj and I we’d be okay. That’s obviously not what’s going on.

13: Jonas
12: Ben
11: Daniel

ANOTHER A-MAZE-ING CHALLENGE

Every season there’s always a dang maze. The problem with the maze in the prequel? Too long. The problem with the maze in season one? Too complex. The problem with the maze in season two? Too easy and too independent. The season three maze? Perfect. Enough skill, planning, and teamwork was required to complete it.

And in case you hadn’t heard, that was very much inspired from purchasing Dance Dance Revolution II for Wii at the end of May. I remember riding the bus for two hours total all for the sole purpose of buying that game. Which was quickly followed by running into fellow high school graduates from three years prior. The hair change shocked them quite a bit. I couldn’t imagine what a guy who skipped every dance class in high school suddenly possessing DDR would do to their system.

If an Oco member is reading this (particularly Sheri or KJ), they would say that this challenge sucked. If you ask myself or anyone on Pasu, I’m sure they’d agree this challenge was awesome. Players ran into traps, backtracked, and scrambled to finish. In fact Pasu procrastinated so much on this challenge that Vuittoni and Eric would have been the lone pair to finish this challenge. But in the closing minutes the remaining pairs got in. In addition, KJ and Sheri’s multiple errors as they moved led to perhaps the most lopsided victory since. . .the last challenge.

OCO IS ON THE RIGHT TRACK

Although being blown out of the water in two consecutive challenges may seem like a tribe in more trouble than season one’s Supa, I do contend that Oco is unanimously fed up with their performance that I see them being dominant starting next round. I think Pasu has enough weaker players who will be forced to play in challenges, and the uneasiness that seems to be settling in over there that I think Oco could still find themselves merging with five players.

On the other hand, that could be from this shot of optimism that has been loaded into my arm. That syringe is nearly empty.

WHERE IS STEPHANIE?

Stephanie has been MIA. All others have been involved in the game either through challenges, confessionals, or camp life. Stephanie is the only one who has been absent from everything since she betrayed her tribe and snagged the idol. Seeing how vulnerable Pasu will be given the nature of the upcoming challenge, Stephanie needs to step up and desperately turn things around or we may see a huge upset.

WILL BOTH IDOLS BE GONE?

Wouldn’t that be something? An idol has never been played prior to the merge until Jonas did this season. With Stephanie’s inactivity and players like Kim on a warpath against the lack of participation this season, Stephanie’s voteout is likely sealed. Either she needs to play her idol or she won’t be active to know that it’s her boot and the idol will be flushed. Thankfully there’s no fake idols in circulation. I doubt many contestants suspect that Stephanie holds an idol.

SHERI CLOSES IN ON THE THIRD IDOL

Sheri’s close. Somebody is requesting the right hints for once. She has a sense of what it will take to solve this puzzle. Usually 90% of the cast gives up on solving an idol because they’re used to the Warren Adams style of praying for a “name that song” or the popular idea in recent years is for a biased confessional idol to be handed out. Unfortunately your pop music knowledge or your relationship with the host does you no good here.

Here’s how the message appears to Sheri as of this round:

You are the third person on your tribe to be informed of the third and final hidden immunity idol in this game.

You can request one number, symbol, letter, or a general hint between now and the end of this round’s Tribal Council.

The hint you request will be shared with the person on the other tribe who received this message this round. And vice versa.

3-F-E-7-12-1-14-15-C-1-14-9-F-E-13 6-F-12 13-F-C-16-9-E-7 14-8-9-13

15-10 1A-10-16-13 3-6-14-15 9-10-14-15 A-F 15-9-6 18-10-13-D-5

Hint #1: The second “1A” represents the letter “A”.
Hint #2: The second “D” represents the letter “N”.
Hint #3: One of the number systems that appeared in the video game “999: Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors” will help you get started on solving this puzzle.
Hint #4: There are three key steps to solving this puzzle. The first is to look up the Base 16 number system and translate the numbers displayed in the puzzle to the Base 10 number system.”

Do you know what to do? Sheri knows what it means by base 16. Therefore she should have the idol tracked down this round. It’s not too difficult from there.

HOW THE THIRD IDOL WORKS THIS SEASON

If you’re reading this, you’re probably curious how the idol is supposed to be solved. For those of you who played 999, there are two key number systems that we learn in the game:

1) Digital Roots (The challenge from season two where Kevin was sent home for holding everyone back)
2) Base 16.

Rather than it be 1-10, Base 16 is 1-10 then A-F. After F the next number is 11 (which is really 17).

As you can imagine, I triple checked my puzzle prior to Opening Day to ensure there were zero mistakes. If there was a mistake, this idol would have to be canceled. Luckily I didn’t screw up and it played out perfectly. Translate from Base 16 into Base 10, and from there translate it to letters of the alphabet.

Note that the question mark and back slash is there for a reason. It’s the final step. One of the most clever final idols I have created to date.

AARON GOES AFTER JONAS AGAIN

When you have no one willing to save you and the only reason you’re in this position is because of betrayal, there is nothing better than a classic “f— you” vote. Jonas may have avoided Aaron’s continuous rogue votes if it weren’t for creating a fake alliance with him in round one. However, he did so and those past votes may come back to haunt him. If there is a 2-2 deadlock on Oco because they lose too much, Jonas will be an easy target. He’ll have Aaron to thank for his exit.

Do I think Aaron scrambled? He never told me anything about scrambling. So I imagine the efforts were miniaml. None of the other players told me much about Aaron’s desperate feelings to stay. Aaron being voted out may have been deserved after all. I’m a bit surprised that him and Ben end up being the two least active players in a challenge where their backs are the only two against the wall. You think they would be the two scramblilng to the finish rather than the ultra comfortable pair of KJ and Sheri.

But that is not the case.

BEN IMITATES ALEX ANGARITA’S SURVIVAL SKILLS

For those of you who don’t know this, I am one of about seven Alex Angarita fans in the world. I feel his game in Survivor: Fiji was ahead of its time in an era of unique Survivor twists and a game that is greatly overlooked. I never saw him as much of a d—-bag like others did. Oh well.

Anyways, Ben makes a great move here. He knows it’s him or Aaron. The other four have enough numbers and are prepared in case one of those two has the idol. All it takes is a 2-2-2 vote and Ben could be gone. So what does Ben do? He votes out Aaron in the same way that Alex voted out Mookie when these fears were prevalent. The tribe all voted for Aaron regardless, but Ben was prepared for every contingency. Well done.

Sometimes keeping yourself alive for that lone round may make all the difference. Someone else could screw up, you could find an idol, a switch, a mutiny, or anything that can cause a 180 degree turn in the season.

KJ AND SHERI IN CRUISE CONTROL

They have the stronghold in Oco locked down. They’re doing the greatest amount of work in an ailing tribe which will stop the possibility of a Jonas-Ben-Tina uprise. Despite the fact those three do talk to one another which is a rare commodity on this tribe. Victories are on the horizon. Sheri and Tina may be looking to players on Pasu to ally with come merge time. I’d say KJ and Sheri have an opportunity that nobody has taken advantage of in the past two seasons–overcome a potential Pagonging.

THE MEANEST CHALLENGE IS COMING UP

Since watching the Dark Knight, there is one part of the movie particular that I have always wanted to use as a challenge in a Mole ORG or a Survivor ORG. Incidentally because this is a Survivor ORG series, some adaptations needed to be done to make the challenge compatible. Enjoy. 🙂

AARON EXIT INTERVIEW

And you were voted off a few days ago. Ugh. That can’t feel good. Or maybe it does. I dunno. Here are some questions. Enjoy?

1. Let’s go back to the beginning of the game. Did you make any alliances before the tribes were picked?

No. I waited until the tribes were put together.

2. Newbies usually do extremely well in my games. This season is completely different. You, Jim, Nick, and Lauren all were eliminated in a row. Were the veterans simply better? Or did the newbies suck worse than usual?

This was my second ORG. I think an ORG like this requires a lot more experience with ORGs. So maybe the veterans are better.

3. Is there any way that I let you down in my hosting? Whether it be challenges or the format?

Some of the challenges were hard to understand.

4. You went to Tribal Council round after round. You were down in numbers after the first TC. How come you couldn’t rally or regroup an alliance in the following two rounds?

I had an alliance with Ben, Jim, Lauren, and Jonas. When Jonas flipped, I thought we would have a chance at winning the next challenge.

5. You consecutively rogue voted for Jonas. Was that strategy or personal feelings from the round one betrayal?

He betrayed my alliance and I didn’t know who else to vote for.

6. At camp you guys didn’t really talk from what I read. Did you manage to talk to anyone privately?

I spoke to everybody at least once except Nick and Tina.

7. When did you sense that this tribe would lose and lose and lose? Was there any scenario where you guys would have won a challenge?

When we lost the second or third challenge, I knew we were screwed. I think Nick leaving really hurt us and I think a lot of people would agree.

8. Why do you think you were voted out before Ben?

I hadn’t done anything in that last challenge while Ben had done something. I tried my best to do the challenges but the work for my online class was ultimately more important. I thought I could balance the two (and I think it might’ve worked).

When I was doing Karl’s ORG, I had just finished a summer course (which I ended up failing) and I did it because Karl approached me. I made it to 7th place and the day after I got the boot, I was off for college for my sophomore year. I’m not even going to attempt a semester at college and an ORG at the same time.

9. Who do you want to win? Who do you think will win? Who do you want to be voted out? Who do you think will be voted off?

Honestly, I haven’t been able to keep up with the rest of the season. Ever since I got the boot, I’ve been devoting more time to the online class. Whoever is left: good luck!

10. If you have any other thoughts, please share.

I wish this had been a better experience for me. I just got unlucky here. I can’t say I enjoyed it nor can I say I hated it. It was okay. At least I tried.

On behalf of the production crew for SupaCooWackyLand, we thank you for playing this game!

EPISODE FOUR

Immunity Challenge IV: The Joker Meets Survivor

Inspired By: The Boats Dilemma in The Dark Knight

July 12 – July 17

Winner: Pasu

Individual Winners: Vuittoni and Tina

Reward: Immunity

Voted Out: Ben

Vote Count: 4-1

TRIBAL COUNCIL #4

(BEN)-(KJ)-(JONAS)-(SHERI)-(*TINA*)
XXX
(NICK)-(JIM)-(LAUREN)-(AARON)

You must answer your questions in order for your vote to count.

BEN,

1. . . .I really don’t even know what to say to you guys this round. None of you did anything wrong. I’ve hosted around 60 non-live challenges, and never had a challenge go to such an extreme tiebreaker, and have that tiebreaker come down to eighty seconds.

Sorry, I’m rambling. So how the heck do you vote somebody out this round? Where is the criteria?

I personally think that, really, we as a tribe have reached the point of no return. You could sugar-coat it and say that we’ve got a shot at returning from a 9-4 deficit, but really, that’s rarely ever happened. If anything we’re more doomed than when we started, because none of us have a chance to win this game.

I’m voting for (and I really suggest everyone else votes like this as well) a threat. A challenge threat and a social threat. They’re the ones who are going to be my greatest enemy if I end up making the merge at all. I could be sensible and still vote as a tribe, and vote for someone who can’t help us from this point (which is, as I’ve said before, the point of no return), but really, if they’re still thinking like that at this point in the tribe’s game, they’re more doomed than I thought. Anyone who actually votes like being a strong tribe matters at this point is an idiot who more than likely does not have long for this game.

2. The tribe will be down to four players after this round. Seasons of Survivor on TV and online have featured players mounting a comeback with only four people on their tribe. How will this tribe work to become apart of that stat?

More than likely, we won’t. There has to be a reason that tribe keeps on winning, whether it be luck or skill, but they have the one thing we don’t have and that’s communication and the ability to work together. If that is what they have then they’re going to stick together like glue at the merge and we’ve got no chance.

KJ,

1. Disappointing loss. Is there really any blame to be cast? If so, where?

Not really. It’s unfortunate we weren’t all on at the time of the challenge being posted.

2. Were you surprised nobody took either of the talisman offers?

No, we all wanted immunity

JONAS,

1. This challenge all came down to you. If you post eighty seconds earlier, or maybe even twenty seconds earlier and you guys would at least go to the next tiebreaker. Has anybody pointed the finger at you? If not, do you think they are doing it behind your back?

Well I know I sent you a message letting you know what I was picking, also I did tell kj I was picking Tina, also when I was trying to post, my phone wouldn’t post b I have really bad service in my hotel room and my phone got wet from me listening to music in the shower.

2. It’s like a dark cloud has been hanging over you every time we come here. Either you’re getting a vote, using the idol against somebody, or failing to complete a challenge. What will it take to get out of that cloud?

Well I know I sent you a message letting you know what I was picking, also I did tell kj I was picking Tina, also when I was trying to post, my phone wouldn’t post b I have really bad service in my hotel room and my phone got wet from me listening to music in the shower. It has been really quiet around here since day 1 and I’ve gotten used to it. I did let everyone know that I was going to be away so I hope it won’t be used against me.
This is hard for me bc it came at a great time in my life. Work is amazing and everything. I would hope to love to stay bc I just don’t know if people will give me that shot. I feel like had I not stayed with the girls, and saved kj the first week then I think most of them would be gone right now, myself included. I just wish I could get another chance.

SHERI,

1. All of your other losses have been landslides. This was as close as it can ever get in Survivor. Will it be easier to re-group for the next challenge compared to other losses in the past? Or will the devastation of losing such a nail-biter that the tribe will crumble?

We’ve crumbled already. It’s basically been up to KJ and Myself to carry this tribe and we just can’t do it ourselves so we’re basically screwed no matter what we do at this point.

After this we’re going to be down to 4 and that’s never a good thing to be down by so many come a merge. It’s suicide, actually.

2. One in four shot of being voted out. Why shouldn’t it be you?

Because I’ve at least tried to be on top of things alongside KJ. If they want to vote me out for being honest with my questions this round so be it but I really see no other reason one vote should be against me other than stupidity.

TINA,

1. Amongst all of this craziness, you’re safe. . .again. You are the only person on this tribe to be safe from TC, and you’ve been safe two out of four TCs. Why do you think the other four agreed to give you a free pass on a loss for a second time?

2. Will you feel responsible for the person who goes home? Or is your vote just another vote?

When you vote, please do so in the following manner:

VOTE: (Logannnn)

REASON: I would type out a longer vote, but by the time I thought about it eighty seconds had passed. Yeah, sorry I couldn’t elaborate more.

You cannot vote for Tina unless she gives up immunity to someone else. Everybdoy else is fair game. Between now and 2:00pm eastern Tuesday, it is time to vote. Oco tribe, you’re up.

BEN: Later.

Well you eliminated the one guy who said this was an individual game. The only problem? We’re only four rounds in. You’re still a tribe, and clearly you haven’t lost that spirit. Make sure you keep that spirit.

CONFESSIONALS ROUND FOUR

BEN,

(Possibly final) Confessional:

Wow. We’re done. I thought we had a chance, but now we’re done. Nobody on my tribe has a chance of winning this game.

I didn’t want to end up like this. My entire alliance is gone, I’m stuck on the wrong side of an Ulonging with no end in sight, and to top it all off I’m up against 4 people who have no reason to keep me. I did not plan on this at all. I didn’t want this to happen. Sure, one or two of the immunity losses were my fault, but these guys aren’t that bad, really – I just happened to be diametrically apposed to them for the first part of the game.

If I leave this game, I’m leaving with so many regrets, and even less things I’m glad I did. I never won individual immunity, I never got the idol, I never voted out someone I wanted to at the start, and…*sigh*

I’ll try the best I can. I’m going to fight down to my last breath to stay in this game. Tooth and nail, ashes to ashes, we all know the world don’t move to the beat of just one drum, and so forth.

Just watch. Cyclone Benny-Boy has yet to hit these people, but it will, and it will be quick and swift.

BIJO,

so it’s been a long time that +lm writing a confessional.

confessional 2.

Whew, im gonna do this really quick.
Since i hate starting things without finishing them. But in real life I’m actually like that.
Okay, what happened anyway in my game?
Well, a lot of people in our tribe are really quiet that it scares me.
Because in my perception,it is silent but in reality it’s so noisy and i’m not being included in the noise.
My tribe’s really cool, strong and working people are around so im not having anymore worries.

Anyway, for the challenge 2,since we lack socializing, i figured that I have to request for an idol just in case that I need that but it will cause us something that we don’t want to happen as a team.
So I set aside my greed and decided to help at the challenge.
Well, i’m an excited fox that I didn’t see they already decided that me and Jeric will sit out from the challenge. Well it was Silver who decided.
And I’m really pissed.yeah I waited so long for the challenge that I didnt sleep (it was 2 in the morning actually)
and then I get this disappointment because I’m going to sit out from the challenge.
Well, despite what happened, i decided to vent my pissedness…(there’s a word like that?)
i decided to vent it into my pillow and get some good sleep.
When i woke up, good news gave me a good smile since we won the challenge. All thanks to the other tribe not making any effort at all to do the challenge.
And thanks to Vuit…(i prefer to type his name shorter since his name is a little weird) he was the MVP this round.he managed to stop the other tribe from posting anything. I love it.
So the idea of Vuit being in an alliance with the people from the other tribe is starting to fade in mah mind.

confessional 3

alright. So fun.
It’s a semivege. And as a, rules are little bit tough to understand. Lol. I see it as a complex rule that I didn’t cared about doing the challenge for a second. But on second thought, I knew I still didnt harvest the power I needed in this game. So I need to work things up and keep the tribe safe and myself safe as well.
Luckily Jeric was online an hour before the challenge ends so we were able to push through the tough dance revolution inspired game.
When the results are up, we managed to pull a win. I pity the other tribe actually because it seems that they have people who are inactive and I believe aren’t pushing through to this game.
Well, good for me and my team.
But I still wonder what will happen when the merge comes if I do not know the statistics of my tribe.as to who goes with who.
It’s gonna be difficult man.

confessional 4

oh well, I’ve been talking with Jeric about this 3rd Immunity Idol and the Hidden Idol in my tribe. I wonder if someone already requested for it,or someone already has it.
And we agreed that we need to do something about it and request for the idol soon.
Speaking of the idol…
This round, the challenge is all about temptations.
Immunity up for grabs in exchange for your tribe’s win.
Well, i’m so tempted because I know that there’s something surprising lurking in my tribe that I’m not yet aware of.
But again, i disregarded my greed and didn’t care about the Immunity since Eric, Vuit and Kim already warned us not to give into temptation.

Round 2…stakes are higher,a personal clue for the third immunity idol.
Dang,this what we really need.
I mean, what I need.this will help me go further in the game.
But yeah, i figured,if I get a clue, and I’m not good in deciphering clues then all that sacrifice went to the ashes.
I decided that I should be careful and stay under the radar for as long as I need to.
And I can see that my alliance is doing the same thing.
Not being social, but being a tribe asset.
So far, Stephanie’s in a lucky boat as she was not very present most of the time and she get to stay just because her tribe is winning immunity.
‘s golden.lucky her. But I need to cut her lucky charm because if we go to tribal council, she will be my obvious target. But it scares me also because I know Kim is in an alliance with her. And Kim is like the voice of the tribe.she makes the tribe alive and fun.

Speaking of Steph, the third round required us to vote for someone to be granted the Immunity.
Since no one took a bite to that tempting offer,we need to do something simple. Now,if it’s posting, my worry is that welre gonna lose this one.there’s 9 of us and there’s 5 of them,of course 5 people can complete their task faster because they have little time and members to worry.
Well, i also worry that Steph won’t be around to post.
Eric sugeested Vuit t be granted immunity.
Which kinda gives me the suspicion that they are in an alliance. But whatever. I wonder if that immunity will last for the first tribal immunity of Pasu only, but what if a merge happened without Pasu going to the tribal council. I wonder if that Immunity will still work post merge.
Anyway, if there’s an alliance going on between them then it’s big trouble.
Eric and Kim has immunity on their first tribal council.
Now Vuit has his also.what if a Hidden Immunity idol is in their possession as well, then it’s going to be f***ity f*** f*** war.
Anyway, Steph was the last one to post and everyone was worried if we lose.

But luckily,we won by a matter of 80 seconds…
Yeah. Steph was really lucky.
She saved herself and our tribe from being torn. yay!

JONAS,

I think I need to leave the game
I have been really busy lately and I got promoted.
I hope u understand. I’ve been swamped. I may wait.

KIM

do not give me instructios, fool until you address my question. then we can discuss further issues. HOKKAY LOGAN SAUNDERS???

Ok, so im really concerned about the lack of activity in the tribe. Could it be that im just the only douche home on a saturday night aside from daniel who is still fresh from the womb?
And really I went on vacation and still didnt miss much. [:-/]
WHATS REALLY GOING ON???

Second Confessional (novel)
Against my better judgement. [:(]
Alrighty, if i dont do this now, i’ll forget things and i might as well go ahead and spew. Hell, people stay mad at my words all the time anyhow, i guess another b**** festival at the end of this game will be nothing short of spektakeeelur…just for once though, i’d like to be nowhere near the s*** slinging. (that’s a likelihood, eh?)

For sometime now i’ve been sitting on info from stephanie. At the time during the beginning of the game when she somewhat spoke, she tells me she has the idol. I was in doubt for a while but as i watched the inactivity, i began having some idea that she does indeed have it. Hmmm. ok

I had spoken with vuittoni about trusting her (if i’ve told you some of this already, just whatever, im old.) so he agreed with me. k?
Over the course of the game, no stephanie. It’s hard to keep defending people that aren’t even posting in the group. Sooo, i just avoid the topic and go on.

What the hell is going on with the tribe anyways? For the first time, i like all the members, but where are they? Like, literally you have to tag these f***ers in EVERYTHING to get them to move. Why? And why the f*** sit me out of a challenge when i still had a day and a half that i could have participated. DANG! Even when i was on vacation and couldn’t connect, i was about to bust a vessel thinking i might miss something. This concerns me. How great would it be (survivor idealist) to make merge with EVERYONE and annihilate the other tribe and make it to the end with your originals. [:(] I think my dreams have been shattered after this last challenge, which imo will probably be the easiest thing you would ever do, you ruthless bastard. [:)] Anyhow……..

I have decided to put a large amount of faith in vuittoni. I dont really know him all that well, but he preaches loyalty to no end. He also seems to have this ability to kick a** in challenges. So, i have no option really but to trust him. Sorta. *hold on my friend just pranked me.
ok.
So we had a long interesting convo today.. and im not quite sure how i feel about it???

i guess a bit like this ^^

Originally we had decided to rid of bijo, in the event of a tribal. Why? i played in Troy with bijo. I read his confessionals didnt i? yup. This caused mervin and i a great deal of trauma in solomon islands, i read confessionals. he posted these confessionals. LOL put stock in these folks, people WRITE EM!! ohhh off track again.
anyhow..i had sort of dismissed bijo being the first boot because of aarons departure. i knew from someone that he was cross aligned with him. i kept this to myself.
so when i speak with vuittoni today about our possible upcoming t.c. when he asked about the book, i flat said, “we have 4 inactives. one with an idol.”
this will get me in trouble with stephanie, but its part of the story.
So vuittoni says “how bout we vote jeric?”
~side note…jeric is more active than stephanie, although inactive. so as i tried to calmly express this to vuittoni he states “no! we stick to original plan” so i say to him, “umm bijo was original plan, not jeric, and clearly you are forgetting this idol needs to be flushed!” so then he says “ok, so then we get the others to vote stephanie, we vote with stephanie (bijo) and we remain loyal” i say” ok”
DATS RIGHT VUITTONI!!!

now just to sit back, hope he keeps quiet, and hope i dont get the good ole blindside.
*sigh

Ohh
*side note again
and as far as other things going on with the other tribe.
On my end, not a darn thing. That is something i don’t believe in. Some folks do it, but to me it’s unfair. It’s not done in the real game (until this last season of complete b.s.ness) and i don’t care for it in the least.

EPISODE FOUR BLOG

Note that for the remainder for this season’s blog, I only posted rough notes and my projected boot order at the end of each round. I wanted to see if that would improve what I would write about in the rounds that drag a bit or if it would significantly impact the quality of the blog. We shall see.

THE DARK KNIGHT CHALLENGE

The challenge I was most excited for when I was coming up with the challenges pre-season. There was several variations I had in mind but this is the one I ended up implementing. Do you screw over your own tribe and claim individual immunity? It’s much like the penalty idols. However, in this scenario everyone can claim immunity and you may be the only viable option. The biggest test of trust ever in the series.

And sadly, no one took the bait.

And again.

And again.

I doubt if I will do this challenge in the future. It was at a juncture in the game where everyone wanted to avoid Tribal Council and wanted to fade as much as possible. A possibility is to have it as an opening challenge because everyone will feel uneasy and think they will have enough time to recover because they’ll reason that “it’s early”.

The reason why I picked the challenge to be in this round is because the mutiny is scheduled next round and I think people jumping ship because too many people on their side was holding immunity  (or lack thereof) would be an intriguing dynamic. Evidently it didn’t play out in this fashion.

As a host, it was satisfying enough to watch it play out. The only regret I have is not having bigger temptations for the players to cave into accepting. It was a judgment call I made because I didn’t want the challenge to influence too many rounds of the game. There is a part of me that thinks it was for the best anyway.

THE IDOL JIG IS UP

Stephanie comes out of the woodwork to reveal she has the idol. Apparently not planting a fake idol for Eric to claim does nothing as Stephanie comes out of the idol closet the very next round.

If I were Eric, I wouldn’t tell anybody that I sabotaged the tribe. Best to keep everything to myself and start pointing fingers knowing that one of the accusations has to be right.

NEW ALLIANCE FORMED?

Vuittoni and Kim seem to be working closely together with Stephanie. But yet Vuittoni and Stephanie both appear to want the other out with Kim finding herself in the middle. At this point everyone is talking about placing their trust in Kim. Even Tina’s Medallion of Power was awarded to Kim because of a cross-tribal alliance. Judging by how I have thrown Kim into the third slot in the boot order, I was convinced at the time that Kim was going to make a deep run in this game.

But will she come out too strong and find herself packing because she played harder than anyone?

I think Kim’s biggest advantage seems to be that she is the most active player. She is actively strategizing, and when no other players are talking to each other, it’s tough for people to form an alliance against you amidst the silence. You are left with malleable hands to manipulate and get what you want.

STEPHANIE NEARLY SINGLE-HANDEDLY LOSES THE CHALLENGE

Stephanie, the least active player on Pasu, sure enough was very close to sending herself out the door. It’s tough to find anyone else to vote when the blame one hundred percent rests with you and it is the first Tribal Council for a tribe. Ask Jim. It’s tough to throw somebody else in the line of fire when people are using very objective criteria at the start of the mayhem.

CLOSEST FINISH EVER

After two landslide victories for Pasu, this challenge was easily the closest all game. All series, for that matter. We went to a THIRD tiebreaker. That’s ludicrous. What happened to season one when I could be half-asleep as I handed immunity over to Coo? Those days are clearly gone. And hopefully for the remainder of this season. We now have two very competitive tribes and all players remaining want to win this game.

It was eighty seconds between when Stephanie and Jonas posted. It’s funny because if it were any other challenge, I would be able to declare a winner with this narrow of margin. But it was my second shift of work, and Stephanie and Jonas happened to post during my five hours away at work. I get home and see that the thread won’t give me the exact minute. For the next hour I keep refreshing both camps and wait to see whose “hour ago” changes first. After about forty minutes and hundreds of refreshes later, I was able to declare a winner. Thank god. I kept warning the players about how we may need to decide on a fourth and possibly fifth tiebreaker. I shudder and empty my stomach thinking that it could come to that.

“Vote on your own tiebreaker”. . .yeah, good one Logan.

STEPHANIE-JONAS CONNECTION IS EXPOSED

Stephanie supposedly recruited Jonas to the game, both found the idols in round one which had almost become public knowledge, they are both relatively inactive, and now they are the last two to post in this challenge just eighty seconds apart. In addition, the other twelve players in the game posted up to 24 hours ahead of them. Were they on a camping trip on the same time? After this I was keeping a close eye on how truly close these two were. It seemed they did everything in unison. If I was one of the other players, I’d conspire to split that ASAP. Of course they could very well be eliminated due to inactivity alone.

JONAS CONSIDERS QUITTING

This was a situation where it was tough to keep my composure as a host. On one hand, if Jonas quits at Tribal Council, a much more active player in Ben will survive to the next round and be in a position to mutiny. On the other hand, that is heavily biased and my number one rule is to create as authentic of a game as possible and continue to uphold being one of the least biased hosts out there.

Of course I chose the latter. Like I did with Brian Meagher back in season one, I had about a thirty minute chat with Jonas and made a point that he could be hurting his own tribe greatly and that it would be a bad way to go out. On top of that I added that someone on his tribe already quit. Two people quitting from the same tribe pre-merge? That would be nasty. Eventually Jonas stayed. But much like Brian Meagher, I expect Jonas to drop out in the next round or two. His head is clearly not in the game anymore.

BENNY ON THE ROPES

With one last act of desperation, Benny pleads his case to stay. He casts his vote for Sheri knowing that it’s a longshot for Jonas and Tina to join him. But what else is he supposed to do? The tribe experienced a loss that came down to essentially splitting an arrow with an arrow. They’re angry. Miserable. No end of their misery in sight. Will they listen because they are up for switching things up? Clearly whatever they are doing has not been working all game.

WHY NOT TARGET JONAS?

Jonas and Ben must have had a good relationship at this point. Or KJ and Sheri essentially told Ben to f— off. Jonas had been chronically inactive, and lost a crucial challenge for the tribe. Ben hasn’t done anything wrong. Couldn’t Ben build a case from there as the tribe dwindles down to four against a cohesive force of nine? But instead Sheri is the target. Perhaps the most active player on the tribe.

INTRA-TRIBAL PAGONING ENDS

After Nick’s quit, the newbies and sophomores were slaughtered one after another. Jim, Lauren, Aaron, and now Ben. 4-1 vote. Nobody expressed any interest in saving Ben. The veterans alliance lucked out thanks to a day 1 quit by Nick, and used their numbers from there. If Nick hadn’t quit we’d be dealing with a very chaotic and divided tribe. Nick staying would have led to KJ’s idol being properly played, eliminating one from the newbies alliance, and making things 4 vs. 4. That would have been a tribal teeter totter because I doubt anyone would have budged.

But we’ll never know what would happen there. Instead Nick quit and all of the ducks were lined up in a row. I’m disappointed to see Ben go this early in contrast with some of the people in this game. Especially when it is the same day where someone thought about quitting. It doesn’t matter how much you like or dislike a player, if somebody wants to play more than somebody who is willing to voluntarily leave, well, you’d want that player to stay.

Ben did alright in challenges after July 1st, sent in confessionals every round, and actively strategized. It’s a classic Gina Crews case of falling on the wrong side of the numbers on a dwindling tribe. If there is ever a Second Chances season, it would be next to impossible not to bring back Ben.

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

Oco is on pace to be a worse tribe than Pasu. However, the traditional fifth round mutiny is on the horizon. If we learned anything from last season, that could impact how the rest of the game plays out. I certainly hope it does, anyway. This season needs to turn over a new leaf.

BEN EXIT INTERVIEW

Well this exit interview came a little late. But better late than never, I s’pose.

1. You told me prior to the start of the game that you have a tendency to not do well in ORGs. Have you been able to pinpoint the reason after another disappointing finish?

I’m not really sure what the reason is. If I had to guess it’s that I play in a way that ensures I can assosciate myself with people I want to be aligned with, instead of playing smart and looking past social….uhm, whatever the word is. Social graces? Something like that.

2. You picked Nick to join your tribe. Why did you pick him? According to Nick he hadn’t even been online once since the game started. So I guess the follow-up would be “why pick someone who you didn’t even get to talk to?”

I picked him because…if I remember correctly, there were about 4 people left, and I had seen his name floating around before, like socially. One of the other choices in the tribal swap if I still remember correctly was Daniel Marino, and he seemed a bit young for me to choose consciously.

3. You initially trusted Jonas. Why do you think Jonas ultimately rallied against you?

If I had to guess, based off of what I’ve said to him and he’s said to me even after the betrayal, he was just looking out for his own best interests. I think our biggest mistake was letting him take control at that Tribal Council. Looking back, I think I should have pulled a Cesternino/Orlins and voted out the swing vote. Considering how the votes ended up going, I reckon we might have had a chance. At least better than what ended up happening.

4. In fact, do you think if you invested time talking to someone else instead of Jonas at the start, would you and Aaron have the numbers control?

The start of the game was a rough time for me – I’d just started working and there was a truckload of personal s*** going on in my homelife that made communicating with the other people in this game who weren’t Jim, Jonas and Aaron a somewhat secondary concern. I definitely would have done better had the circumstances been different and I had been more invested in playing smart rather than attempting to play safe amongst my own alliance.

5. Even after the Jonas betrayal, you avoid voting him and instead vote against your own previous allies. Do you think this is the reason why you survived to be the last of your alliance?

Once the ship of my alliance started sinking, I knew that being quiet, but not so quiet as to be inactive, was the key to making sure I survived well into the tribal stages and possibly had a chance to find instability in the other alliance. Voting out my own alliance mates, namely Aaron and Lauren, I think gave me a shot, but ultimately they were too close for me to weasel into. It didn’t help that none of them returned my PM’s and almost point-blank refused to talk to me, even Jonas after a while.

6. Seeing how this interview was sent to you rather late, would you have opted to mutiny to the other tribe? Why or why not?

100%. I was the odd man out on the other tribe, and what I’ve been taught is that there was bound to be more on the other tribe. I could’ve survived longer over there than I did here, at least in theory.

7. This tribe was split between newbies and veterans. Why do you think the tribe couldn’t find that middle ground and work together or talk to each other?

We started playing the game too early. Jonas took the idol, which could have been useful for the tribe, and blindsided an ally I know would have done better in a later round (at least that’s what I believe), rather than taking the conventional route and trying to convince me to cut him loose. I think that’s one of the things that drowned us.

8. From the opposing alliance, who spent the most time talking to you?

Jonas. Nobody else even returned my PM’s.

9. Did Nick quitting at the start of the game really make the difference between you and Aaron being shut down or being in control?

Definitely. And after hearing about someone from the other tribe quitting, I’m pissed that they were even in the game at all.

10. You avoided penalizing the tribe, yet Jonas played an idol at the first TC that could only be obtained via a penalty. Kicking yourself for letting the opposing alliance having such an advantage? Or frustration that you couldn’t get everyone to unify under your plan of not sabotaging the tribe?

The latter. It was a stupid move by a bunch of reckless people who couldn’t care less about playing smart.

11. In your last round, you made a speech at Tribal Council that said this is strictly an individual game. Do you think anyone would honestly change your mind to keep you when we were still in the tribal stage? What were you intending to get out of the speech?

Mainly the hope that they weren’t idiots. They were close, at least to my understanding, so I was hoping they would realise that this closeness would be their undoing once they lost another immunity challenge or something. Either way, I just felt like leaving with some sort of bang.

12. Who did you think would be voted out next? Who did you want to be voted out next? Who do you want to win? Who do you think will win?

Hopefully someone who isn’t from my tribe will win. I like them better than the people I played with. I don’t know who could get voted out next. It’s anyone’s game, although with the merge coming my tribe isn’t really long for the game.

13. If you have any other thoughts, please share.

Nothing more, just that I had a great time playing, and if you happen to have a Second Chances season, well…my schedule is free
On behalf of the production crew for SupaCooWackyLand, we thank you for playing this game!

EPISODE FIVE

Immunity Challenge V: Wordplay

Inspired By: A live version of this challenge that I played in Online Survivor 22

Date: July 18 – July 23

Results:

Stephanie beat Sheri in the duel

Silver beat KJ in their duel

Jonas beat Vuittoni in their duel

Eric beat Tina in their duel

Therefore, Pasu won 3-1.

Voted Out: Tina

Vote Count: 2-2 tie, then 2-0 revote.

TRIBAL COUNCIL #5

(JONAS)-(KJ)-(SHERI)-(TINA)
XXX
(NICK)-(JIM)-(LAUREN)-(AARON)-(BEN)

You must answer your questions in order for your vote to count.

JONAS,

1. Last Tribal Council Ben gave one of the least unifying speeches perhaps ever given in the pre-merge phase since Shii Ann Huang. How does a tribe come together after a self-destructing scramble like that?

I think Ben was a great guy. But he was on the wrong side of numbers. Us 4 have been together since I made that huge move week 1 to save kj. The most we can do is be happy that we over came the odds and made a good team.

2. You were responsible for scoring the only point in the challenge. Do you think that alone will keep you safe heading into the next round?

I think me scoring a point shows that I want to stay and I’m here to play the game, I wish we didn’t have to vote someone out but that is how the game goes. That point may keep me safe but only time will tell.

3. Unique situation compared to the other Tribal Councils. The four of you have been a rock solid voting bloc since the first round. Have you guys ever discussed what would happen when it got down to the four?

At least to me I knew nothing about what would happen when the 4 of us had to vote. We all hoped it would never get to this point.

KJ,

1. Do you think the fact the four of you have been together will lead to more honesty when it comes to the vote? Or will it be a backstab rather than a frontstab?

Hard to backstab when we’ve been an alliance and voted together and KNOWING one of us is going home tonight. I don’t think anyone will be surprised if its them.

2. In the past you guys have been a bit pessimistic about your chances of winning a challenge. Do you think “the glass is half empty” approach has led to perhaps a sense of a defeatist attitude in these challenges?

I don’t really agree with this statement about us being pessimistic. We had dealt to us a lot of players who honestly didn’t give a s*** about winning, or communicating, or being a strong tribe. It’s not about “half empty” or “half full”, it’s about the cards we were dealt. I know for a fact that Sheri, myself, Tina and Jonas have not had a defeatist attitude.

3. Do you think there’s anybody who is certain they are safe from the vote this round?

I honestly have no clue. I don’t feel safe, so I don’t know why anyone else would?

SHERI,

1. After this round it will be 9 vs. 3. What would you propose to this tribe to flip the script and finish out the game to be 3-0 in favour of this tribe?

I really don’t even know the answer to that question to be honest with you.

2. None of you mutinied. Is that reassuring knowing these are peoople you can absolutely count on as the tribe is in mayday mode?

It’s very reassuring. It lets me know we can count on each other despite how small of a tribe we are.

3. What has been the biggest triumph for this tribe so far in the game?

We still go into every challenge trying our hardest but there isn’t a whole lot we can do at this point to change things so I’d say our biggest triumph is yet to come.

TINA,

1. No immunity around your neck for this Tribal Council. You’re just as vulnerable as anyone else. Why shouldn’t it be you?

I tried really hard at the last challenge…at all the challenges really. I may not understand things right off the bat but i give all i have to this game

2. Has there been any speculation as to when a merge would occur?

None at all

3. What criteria will the other three use to base their vote on?

I’m assuming alliances…but i like all 3 of them..but one of us has to go. I imagine it will be me and i dont wanna leave this game yet!

When you vote please do so in the following manner:

(Logan ^_^)

Reason: It took us five Tribal Councils but finally we figured out a way to eliminate you from this dastardly game! Ha ha. Money in the bank, bayyyyybeeeeee.

KJ: Bye Tina ;(

TINA: Booooo lol was at least close! Lol I hope one of u guys win!!! Good luck! Thanks for the fun game Logan! Even though it made me feel so dumb lmao!

ME: And so ends a fairly wild Tribal Council. This tribe is now down to three.

Back in our prequel season we had an alliance of eight against an alliance of two. The alliance of two managed to triumph and knock the other eight from the game all in a row.

In this game it is a tribe of nine against a tribe of three. The same six number deficit that the alliance of two rallied from a few years ago. If they did it, why can’t you? Keep that in your head as you fight to stay afloat in this game.

EPISODE FIVE CONFESSIONALS

KIM,

K call me a b*** if ya want…but im fairly certain im the oldest person on the tribe by 20 years. I have two dips*** teenage boys, work 50 hours a week minimum and travel some, and i think im in about 6-7 games. Is it just me or when you sign up for a game, you might just want to play that f***er. Like sorry but im just pist and disgusted. and even when u tag folks they still just ignore. We both know they see that s***. Im losing faith in my tribe and it sucks! I want a team of champs.

KJ,

I f***ing HATE THIS TRIBE
I literally stand no chance of winning this game

TINA,

HAHHA f***..hahhahaha i suck so bad at this org…Im SOOO surprised im still in it… and yes that WAS a confessional! lol

CONFESSIONAL!! I know I’m
Going home tonight and am
Not happy! KJ and Sheri are making out in the corner and apparently Jonas doesn’t like fat chicks. The 3 amigos and I’m like the retarded cousin. I’m going to try to sway one of them but F***!! I wanna stay in this game!!!!!

EPISODE FIVE BLOG

MUTINY OFFER

Whether it be one person switching in season one, or four people switching last season, the mutiny will always be a staple of this series. Everyone knows how much I hate production interfering with the game and forcing people to mix up the tribes. I’ve always thought taking advantage of a mutiny or being wise enough not to take advantage of it requires much more skill than allowing production to do whatever they want with you.

For the first time ever, nobody used the mutiny. Nobody wants a cursed individual immunity, nobody wants to mutiny, nobody wants to spy on who has the idol, nobody wants to use the Medallion of Power. . .why did I plan any twists at all for this group? 🙂

By the end of this round somebody will join Brian Kosek and Chris Hook in the “F— Why Didn’t I Switch?” Club. I look forward to offering that new membership. Perks include regrets, I told ya sos, and a desire to redeem yourself.
WORDPLAY

One of my favourite challenges because it is difficult to master. This challenge was taken directly from a live challenge I played in Online Survivor 22. In that version there was a series of random head-to-head match-ups. The first tribe to score five points wins the challenge.

Of course I can’t do it like that because I don’t allow live challenges except for on Opening Day, the final immunity challenge of the game, and if it is a tiebreaker after past votes are deadlocked at Tribal Council. The thorn in my side when making these head-to-head challenges each season is that you need to give players enough time to make a move, but you can’t have the time limit too wide otherwise the challenge could go on for over a week. I think next season I’ll reduce the time limit to fourteen hours.

I thought providing those two very precise examples for the challenge would make the challenge extremely clear. However, it’s a challenge nobody has done before. The biggest issue is that people thought there was more than two ways to score a point. If I were to do the challenge again, I need to stress that there are no other ways to score a point. Some people may think that a best two-out-of-three would make for a much smoother challenge. I did consider this before issuing the challenge.

So why didn’t I do that? Because a best two-out-of-three opens up to a challenge lasting weeks rather than days. Unfortunately, we don’t have the luxury of time for what is already a 50-day game to be stretched into 60-65 days. We need to maintain an overall fluid pace.

WHY THIS CHALLENGE IN PARTICULAR?

I noticed that in the past I have a lack of challenges involving Scrabble-like skills or word building. It’s mainly puzzles, math stuff, co-operative tasks, completion, endurance, find the ____, etc. Wordplay and The Joker Meets Survivor is perhaps the two most unique challenges of the season. It’s too bad neither of them were able to play out to its fullest potential. Maybe both challenges need another chance.

OCO ON THE VERGE OF SUPA’S “SUCCESS”

The same old song. I never thought that Oco would be on the verge of a sweep after the initial tribe picks. Pasu didn’t strike me as THAT active, and I didn’t think Oco would be THAT inactive. I personally thought that Pasu’s advantage would be 7-5 at best. But 9-3? That’s an extreme. Inactivity in the maze, Jonas’ post delayed by eighty seconds, and possibly this round Sheri’s absence made the difference. Sheri stood a good chance of outwitting Stephanie in this challenge and forcing a tiebreaker round. That of course didn’t come to fruition.

PASU ANXIOUS TO PLAY

Seeing Kim’s confessional presents the idea that this tribe is eager to cut people that have been irritating them over the past five rounds. At this point I thought the tribe could self-destruct. But yet they kept winning. It’s like the Galu Experience. The win this round buys Stephanie more time with her idol. I wasn’t absolutely convinced that she had redeemed herself by beating Sheri in the duel.

ERIC’S BRILLIANCE

The MVP for the immunity challenge goes to Eric. His ability to lure Tina into creating a false word is single-handedly what gave Pasu the victory. The question that keeps coming up in my mind is if Eric doing things like this made him more and more of a threat or if they made him more and more of a leader come post-merge. Can he outwit the other eleven?

OCO’S ATTITUDE

If you read the confessionals, you can see how angry Oco is in every single one. Except for Tina and Ben. I find it amusing that Jonas, who wants to quit, Sheri, who has cussed me out, and KJ, who doesn’t seem to be enjoying herself and cusses me out, have been cruising in this tribe since round one. The happier you are on Oco indicates that you’ll be sent home sooner rather than later.

So why is that? It could be that the players who know they are getting the boot are happy just to be there. Meanwhile, those in power and have a path thought out to the end of the game are frustrated that their worst nightmare is coming true. I’d feel the same way.

SHERI PENNER

A question that has been coming up is if people like Sheri in these games gives me headaches. The answer is a clear “No”. Each season someone takes the Penner role, and it helps make the cast well-rounded. At the end of episode four Sheri didn’t like how I do the final words of advice segment. I’ll address this now that the words of advice are always mimicking Jeff Probst. That’s including the Tribal Council chats themselves. I’ll recall questions used at a Tribal Council on TV that is a similar situation to what is playing out in my game. Therefore, the words of advice follow this pattern or I would think “What would Jeff Probst Say in This Situation?”

It’s one of those subtle formatting and authentic points I take great care to incorporate. Regardless if nobody cares or notices lol. Look at the Tribal Council headings and you’ll know what I mean.

OCO’S VOTE

The newbies and sophomores have been vanquished. We have our first suspenseful TC of the season. One of these four will be broken up. However that suspense was broken up when Tina told me that her tribe told her that she’d be voted out this round. Ouch. I thought the vote was a formality until Jonas delivered the most shocking blow pre-merge of any season.

PRE-MERGE TIE

For the first time in the history of the series, there was a pre-merge tie. In fact, there has never been a tie earlier than “day 37” when four players remain in the game. A tie between Sheri and Tina? How the heck did that happen? Jonas is standing up for one of his allies for the first time in the game. I looked up the past votes and saw that Sheri has a greater number of past votes than Tina (thanks to Ben). This could open up to Tina and Kim working together post-merge. Tina may flop and shake up how the whole game plays out. KJ votes for Tina again. The fate of this tribe is in Jonas’ hands. Again.

FLOPPED VOTE

The number one question I have for Jonas in his exit interview. He has never explained the change to me and I’ll continue to be curious as to why he did it. He changes the vote to Tina and she’s gone. Jonas, Sheri, and KJ have stuck together as the Final Three of this tribe. Unfortunately it only took five rounds for their goal to be successful. With twelve players remaining they’ll need to do something that they haven’t proven capable of doing yet–win.

LESSON LEARNED

If only Tina knew her position. . .she could have mutinied!

TINA EXIT INTERVIEW

And so after several losses, you hit the rail. Time to reflect on this experience, I s’pose.

1. Which is more of a bummer–five consecutive losses or that the tribe wins the moment you are voted off?

The 5 losses were worse.. I hardly think I was the reason we were losing so much. None of us communicated well.

2. You received the Medallion of Power. What was your thought process that led you to using it as an individual rather than keeping it for the tribe?

All I could think about was that I didnt wanna go the first round so I figured if i used it and won i would stay in the game longer.. I didnt think long term which was probably my demise.

3. Were you afraid using the Medallion would be viewed as an extremely selfish move?

I didnt think anything of using the MOP. Maybe i should have hahah

4. Furthermore, how did you feel when Kim held onto it as Pasu won immunity after immunity after immunity after immunity after immunity when you had the chance to stop it early on?

It sucks that Kim got to keep it and they kept winning but i didnt over think it. I just had a feeling i would be voted out while having it.

5. Here’s the big question I’ve been waiting to ask somebody from your alliance: How did you get Jonas to flip to your side? And what made you trust Jonas after he betrayed the opposing alliance on the tribe?

I have no idea how Jonas flipped. To be honest KJ was the only person who kept me in the loop. She said she was working with him and I went along with anything she said because i never had an alliance. During the course of the game and us losing i kept saying how hot I thought Jonas was, you know the whole flattering his ego thing, which made him trust me i suppose. At that point we kept chatting and decided would be good for us to stick together because Sheri and KJ were going to work together.

6. Newbies and veterans have integrated very well previously in my series. For your tribe it was like mixing water and oil. Can you pinpoint any reason why everyone virtually ignored each other? It might be the unhappiest camp I have ever read.

I dont know why we didnt work well together..theres nothing that i can pinpoint really. I actually didnt even know who was all in our tribe a couple times coz we never talked..haha

7. What made you decide on voting out Aaron before Ben?

I voted out Aaron over Ben because i was going along with what Kj was doing..at least I think I was.. Hard to remember that far back for me.. lol

8. All of you on the tribe complained that “no one was participating”. Yet if everyone is saying it, then really everyone was participating. Do you think this tribe liked to point fingers which is why the tribe operated in such a disjointed manner?

Pointing fingers was our tribe motto. We want everyone else to do something yet we are doing nothing.. me included!

9. When it is down to your alliance, you are the first casualty. Looking back, do you wish you flopped over to Aaron and Ben to protect yourself until the merge?

I wouldnt have flopped with Aaron and Ben.. I didnt know that and felt I would at least be a bit more safe with Sheri and KJ since I knew them.

10. You kept telling me that you knew you would be gone. Yet the votes are read and it’s a tie. If it was a deadlock, you would have been safe. Did you already know about the tie situation beforehand or was that a shock to you?

I was so shocked that it was tied.. I thought for sure I would be gone.. I couldnt believe it. Was kinda nice.

11. If the vote deadlocked, Sheri is gone. Why do you think Jonas or KJ switched their vote to eliminate you? What logic could have changed their mind?

I have no idea why they switched their vote. Im having the feeling that i really didnt know much that was going on in the game.. hahaha

12. Why do you think the other three agreed to vote you out before Sheri, KJ, or Jonas?

I think they voted me out because I was the least helpful. I had alot on my plate with surgery and moving and working.. I think thats why.

13. How does this ORG compare to the tens, or perhaps hundreds, of ORGs that you have played elsewhere?

14. Who did you think would be voted out next? Who did you want to be voted out next? Who do you want to win? Who do you think will win?

I think Jonas will go next but I want Sheri too. I dont know who will win but i dont think it will be anyone from our tribe..lol

15. If you have any other thoughts, please share.

I loved this game and I hope to play again now that i know whats in store and i will be prepared! Thank you!

On behalf of the production crew of SupaCooWackyLand, we thank you for playing this game!

EPISODE SIX

Immunity Challenge VI: Survivor Name Unscramble

Inspired By: A slightly different challenge idea I had but was much more difficult and will likely be used as a Final Four immunity challenge at some point in the future.

Date: July 23 – July 26

Winners: Oco/KJ (for once)

Voted Out: Daniel

Vote Count: 8-1

TRIBAL COUNCIL #6

(BIJO)-(DANIEL)-(ELMO)-(*ERIC*)-(JERIC)-(*KIM*)-(SILVER)-(STEPHANIE)-(*VUITTONI*)
xxx
(NICK)-(JIM)-(LAUREN)-(AARON)-(BEN)-(TINA)

Below the Tribal Council number is each of your names. As long as your name stays above the X’s, you are still in the game. When your name is gone so are you. Which will be the case for one of you this round.

You MUST answer your TC questions in order for your vote to count.

Please note the asterisks around Eric’s, Kim’s, and Vuittoni’s names. This means they hold the individual immunity talisman and cannot be voted for.

BIJO,

1. Close challenges have been the trend as of late. Do you think that is a testament to Oco improving or this tribe’s overconfidence after doing so well for so long?

Well, I think it’s not overconfidence that made us lose the challenge. I mean, Kim and Elmo and me had good communication.we created our thread so that we can work together and we can come up with a good answer. It’s just that we weren’t able to accomplish that 2nd tie breaker. If you noticed, the other tribe didn’t even answered the tie breaker challenge 2.we assumed that you’re gonna notify us if we need to go down to doing the tie breaker 2. So we didn’t thought that we need to do all the challenges even the tie breaker in one submission. I mean, there’s 11 possible answers, if we knew we already included that on our list. oco just got lucky. They were fighting hard, who wants to leave the game if you gave your best in the challenge.

2. Who do you think is the leader of this tribe?

So far, Vuittoni seemed the leader of our tribe. He’s giving us instructions about what to do and what not. He’s also a hardworker.so he deserved to earn that immunity and the title of Leader in our tribe.

DANIEL,

1. If memory serves me correct, you are the youngest member of this tribe. The youngest player has been eliminated first on four out of five tribes. What sets you apart from those who have failed?

Yes Logan I am the youngest:) I actually didn’t know that fact but im not like them. I have been active from day 1 tried all challenges and shown off my skills. I think its obvious who should go,we need to lose the deadweight.

2. Has there been any conflict because of people really wanting to play a challenge or people refusing to step up?

No from what I have seen most of us communicate really well and decide what is best for the challenges which is why I believe we have won ALMOST all of the challenges:)

ELMO,

1. You are part of the only three people on this tribe who are responsible for the loss. Do you think the three who played are automatically in the hot seat?

I don’t think so. We did our best and our track record shows that we are valuable in challenges. I hope that this is not the only thing that they will consider when they cast their vote.

2. Last round you guys failed to decide on who would play in the immunity challenge. Is there anyone who you would say is getting a free ride on this tribe?

I have no comment. ha ha! I believe that everyone is pulling their weight.

STEPHANIE: Haha

KIM: Daniel, what the f*** is you talkin bout? You’ve been as active Mt Fuji.
And skills?….

KIM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5wmParkppw

KIM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-WbcHa5qUg

ERIC,

1. You are one of three people safe tonight. Will the three of you vote together or will this essentially be a free vote?

We may vote together, we may not. People in this tribe (i assume) have made alliances, so I think thats more of a concern than the players that are immune. Could be a free vote. Everybody has their own opinions on who should go, and there are reasons why each player should stay in the game.

2. Has the name of the player you wanted to eliminate in round one change now that we are at round six?

of course it has! At the beginning, i didnt know anybody. talked to nobody about gameplay. We didnt know who would come through for us in challenges. Earlier in the game (week 1), I probably would have just gone majority (not saying I wont now…). now youve talked to people, you learn their game styles. not any easier of a decision, though.

JERIC,

1. Speaking of which, I bet the criteria for who would vote for is different from what you had in mind for round one. Or is it still about keeping the tribe strong in challenges despite the enormous advantage in numbers?

Uhmm. for that I don’t know yet. I couldn’t think of an answer to that one because we wasn’t expecting this at all. we are not used of voting someone out. One thing I’m sure of right now, this vote will be hard to all of us..

2. In the past, the merge has always taken place with eleven players remaining. What has been the speculation regarding whether or not you will merge next round?

We’ll we all thought that the merge is coming very soon. There are many people expecting the merge next round, including me. but who knows what will happen next?

KIM,

1. You are perhaps the most vocal of anyone on this tribe. Do you think that gives you an advantage or a disadvantage on this tribe?

Oh. Im not quite sure what you are trying to say here, like do I have a big mouth?..sorta..I like to talk, I’m a little hyper, I gets bored. I really don’t think that it should be something that is considered an advantage or disadvantage as I’ve not used it as a weapon thus far.
Maybe by disadvantage you are meaning does it piss people off that Im trying to round them up? I don’t really think so…we have things to do sometimes and it does seems like things go unnoticed or maybe folks aren’t always seeing what you post. OK SORRY I BE TAGGIN AND HOLLERIN. 🙂

2. We haven’t had a chance to talk about the penalty idol yet. Fairly confident whether or not it is found or who has it?

coughcoughfairlycoughwhywouldyouaskmethiscoughasscough

SILVER,

1. Do you think the fact five or six of you have to sit out each challenge that it drives down the activity on this tribe? Because players may go a whole week without having to play?

2. In addition, this game started a month ago and today is your first Tribal Council. How do you think eliminating someone will affect this tribe?

3. A big fan of Grand Theft Auto IV, I gather?

STEPHANIE,

1. How do you think the tribe should vote this round?

I think this tribe is smart and strong. We all have a good head on our shoulders, but the biggest issue is that people are very quiet. So based on this round, most of the people need to look at who is being more verbal, more active.

2. Do you see the individual game already beginning or will this vote still play out in the tribal stage mentality?

I think we all are voting based of tribal stages. My thing is that, as a tribe we need to see what we are going to do from this point forward. We seemed to be winning because of a few people, and 3 of those people are safe. Others who are playing strong do not have immunity but are safe. I think the tribe as a whole has come to a decision. But as for individual, I’m not thinking about that till the other tribe is totally gone. As for others, I’m not quite sure.

VUITTONI,

1. Do you think anyone on this tribe is worried about anyone on the Oco tribe being a threat?

No… We ain’t scared of them!

2. What would be the most surprising thing that could come out of this Tribal Council?

No one goes home? 😛
Alright, when you vote please do so in the following format:

VOTE: (Logannnnn!)

REASON: Uh, you could’ve made the challenge a bit tougher. You say you’re free of those ridikulus time-based tiebreakers, but now we’ve had two of ’em in three rounds. What up with that? You playing us for fools? Well guess what bra, I ain’t no fool. The only person who is a fool is you. So be gone, Mr. Hosty! That is indeed what’s up.

You cannot vote for Eric, Vuittoni, or Kim. Between now and 1:30am eastern Thursday, it is time to vote. Pasu tribe, you’re up.

VUITTONI: I wasn’t even expecting immunity…

ERIC: We gave it to you, and you definitely deserve it!

ERIC: I think they only won because of time zones/availability… lol.

TRIBAL COUNCIL VOTING

BIJO,

DANIEL,

ERIC,

EPISODE SIX BLOG

THE CHALLENGE

In case you haven’t caught on by now, I tend to have very cooperative-based challenges in the tribal phase. This challenge was no different. The key is getting everyone to post their lists as fast as possible. That means if one person takes a while or is away out of town for the day without a fancy schmancy mobile phone, your tribe could lose it right there. Kim’s frustration grew as she waited for the two lists that she needed as the precious hours ticked away.

Of course, after everyone posts their lists the challenge is as individualistic as the pre-merge gets outside of penalty idols. Kim and KJ both did this challenge on their own and unscrambled everything. So who emerged the victor?
.
.
.
.
.

OCO ENDS THE STREAK

Yep. Kim and KJ’s success forced this challenge to go to my least favourite tiebreaker of “who submitted first”. Something I go to extremes to ensure only happens once or twice per season. However this is the second time in three rounds that this occurred. At least it was six hours rather than eighty seconds that determined the outcome.

PASU FAVOURITISM?

After the challenge was over some people on Oco thought I was too soft on Pasu’s loss in contrast with how I dealt with Oco’s losses. I don’t think I was exceptionally soft for the situation. In this challenge both tribes accomplished a perfect score. A tiebreaker is what made the difference. Back when Oco lost by eighty seconds, I wasn’t rough on them for losing that particular challenge. As for the other challenges? They were utter blowouts where Oco wasn’t competitive with Pasu. This round was very competitive and came down to a rare tiebreaker.

That was my thinking behind not giving Pasu a hard time about their loss anyway.

MEDALLION OF POWER

Tina played it the first opportunity she could. Since then it hasn’t been played. When I came up with the Medallion of Power I thought it would be used at least once or twice pre-merge, and perhaps transferred to an inactive player so it could be flushed from the game. I’ll say that at this point it didn’t go the way I expected it to. Tina used it for a selfish reason while Kim has held onto it for a selfish reason. Everyone I’m sure was expecting a merge next round and the Medallion would have guaranteed that Pasu swept the challenges and have a monstrous advantage. Plus I was curious what would happen at a KJ-Sheri-Jonas Tribal Council. My guess is that Jonas would have fallen?

KJ DESERVES SOME KUDOS

She tried the hardest in every single challenge and a win came down to her solo efforts for the second half of the challenge. Mad props, KJ.

PASU FINALLY GOES TO TC

Vuittoni has immunity. Kim has immunity. And Eric has immunity. Also Stephanie has an idol. However it became crystal clear that Kim, Vuittoni, Eric and Stephanie have a pact. I think those four could very well be the Final Four if the others don’t do something about it. I’m surprised Bijo, Jeric, “Silver,” Daniel, and Elmo didn’t come together and take control. Unfortunately Bijo and Jeric are tight with Kim, and seeing how everyone on Pasu and even KJ on Oco is revolving around Kim, she gets to have absolute control of the vote. So who will get the axe?

DANIEL DOESN’T STAND A CHANCE

These games seem to not favour youth too much. That trend certainly continues as the older players on both tribes are in the strongest positions in the game. Kim targeted Dan and that was the end of that. It was a bit uncomfortable to see eight people joke around with each other at Tribal while simultaneously bullying and picking on the fourteen year old. That’s not to say that being as young as Aroon should give you a Mole-like exemption, but man, what a rough spot to be in. Was Dan truly as inactive as some of the other players have been? Or fallen off the face of the online Earth? I don’t think so. However, his inactivity and the fact he wasn’t aligned with Kim sent him packing. 8-1. Dan went after the only other player who was more inactive than him, but unbeknownst to Dan it’s a player with a powerful idol who is allied with the tribe’s captain who holds a powerful penalty spy and a player who holds a powerful Medallion of Power.

THE DREAM TEAM

We’re about to head into a merge by the looks of it. Vuittoni, Kim, and Stephanie are the tightest alliance and each holds a powerful weapon in the game. That’s going to be a very tough alliance to topple. As long as these three find each other equally threatening, there is no doubt they can get to the end. Add in Eric’s challenge prowess and you have the strongest possible alliance in SCWL history. That’s an unstoppable combination. Seeing how KJ, Sheri, and Jonas don’t like to ally with newbies, they’re going to have a heck of a time to get Bijo’s crew and the mysterious “Silver” on their side. Time is ticking.

11: Sheri
10: Jonas
9: Bijo
8: Jeric
7: KJ
6: Elmo
5: Eric
4: Vuittoni
3: Silver
2: Kim
1: Stephanie

DANIEL EXIT INTERVIEW

So you were voted out about a week ago. Time to reflect on your time in this game.

1. For the third season in a row, the first person voted out of a tribe was the youngest member. Why do you think youth has led to a poor performance again and again?

I personally think it because they assume(ass-u-me) we dont know whow to play but out of all the young orgers I know most are active there are just a few inactives like Nathan Miller but he has gotten way better.

2. Peoople confronted you at Tribal Council that you were particularly inactive. Do you think you were an inactive player?

I wouldnt say i was inactive. I may not have been the strongest player but I wasnt the weakest, Stephanie was and she should have gone when i did.

3. You changed your mind about taking individual immunity in the fourth immunity challenge. What made you feel safe enough to not end up accepting immunity?

TBH i didnt feel safe i had wanted it because i felt safe within my so called allaince but i didnt think i needed it but frown to late now

4. In hindsight, would you have accepted immunity seeing that you were the first out of your tribe? Or were you doomed down the road?

I think I was doomed down the road anyway. my trivbe was full of huge threats and game dominaters so i knew i couldnt have gone too far but in hinsdight i should have taken the talisman:(

5. You voted for Stephanie. What led you to vote for her?

She was the most inactive on out rtibe along with bijo. I wanted her out tas she nearly lost us the challenge but we survvied by only 80 seconds . he we lost, she would have been gone.

6. It was an overwhelming 8-1 vote against you. Unanimous. Do you think your perceived inactivity is the only reason why you were eliminated from the tribe?

I know people who wanted steph out but trere was not enough so they voted me to not distance themselves from the rest of the tribe. So i guess thats wasnt really why after all, i guess i just didnt have as strong aliiance as i thought i did:(

7. Did you make any alliances during the game?

I thought i was close with eric vuit and kim but clearly not:(

8. Did somebody tell you to vote for Stephanie or did you completely do that on your own?

Thats was my choice and i am still pround of that. i hope one day it goes to a tie and my sole vote sends her inactive a** home>

9. Who did you find to be the most conniving player in the game?

Definitly Kim and Steph. When she satrted to come out of inactiby after about 4-5 rounds she started getting rveryone to turn on me and kim did the same:)

10. There was an idol at the Pasu camp. Did you speculate if it was found or who claimed it?

I dont think that was ever brought up . If someone does have it, it will be mim, stephanie or eric

11. What was the one thing to surprise you the most this season?

our triobal unity and domination. I thought they other tribe would dominate with such players like tina,kj ans sheri but I was suprised and happy….. until i was voted out

12. Who did you think would be voted out next? Who did you want to be voted out next? Who do you want to win? Who do you think will win?

I think at this current point in the tie i think bijo will be voted out and i hope he does and steph right after him. I want Eric to win but I thinK Kim will

13. If you have any other thoughts, please share.

I would just like to thank you for being an awesome host with unique twists and challlenges. I had a great time. goodluck with the rest of the series:)

On behalf of the production crew of SupaCooWackyLand, we thank you for playing this game!

EPISODE SEVEN

Immunity Challenge VII: Street Fighter Endurance

Date: July 28 – August 1st

Inspired By: Day 20/21 endurance challenges that they would have in classic Survivor seasons. They were usually the most brutal, but it would come down to relatively few players because many were under the false impression that they were safe.

Voted Out: The 2-tribe phase by 10-1 (Bijo only vote against merge).

Voted In: The jury phase. Unanimous.

Also Voted Out: Vuittoni

Vote Count: 10-1

Quit: Silver Revlis

TRIBAL COUNCIL #7

(BIJO)-(ELMO)-(ERIC)-(JERIC)-(JONAS)-(KIM)-(*KJ*)-(SHERI)-(STEPHANIE)-(VUITTONI)
XXX
(NICK)-(JIM)-(LAUREN)-(AARON)-(BEN)-(TINA)-(DANIEL)-(SILVER)

Note that the asterisks around KJ’s name indicates she has immunity.

We will now announce the first member of our jury. . .Daniel. Silver quit, therefore Daniel takes his place. Daniel will receive a transcript of this Tribal Council when it is complete.

And yes. You must answer your jury questions for your vote to count.

BIJO,

1. Everybody and their mother wanted to merge and start the jury. What is the mentality that leads to everyone being so eager to start the new phase of the game?

-I think they really want to gamble on the individual game right now as they are eager to leave the Tribal Phase. But as I was the only one who didn’t approve of the merge, maybe I have a different kind of plan that i can put into action post merge.

2. Who benefits more from the merge? The previous Pasu tribe or the previous Oco tribe?

-I’d say Us PASU. We have the numbers. It’s either the OCO will come to us or they’ll get eliminated one after the other.

ELMO,

1. Did anyone think about the benefits about possibly delaying the merge or jury phase?

I’ve thought of that but then the dynamic seems stale so I’ve decided to vote yes on both options.

2. An extreme lack of participation in the last challenge. Do you think that’s a sign of everyone feeling truly safe in this game?

I don’t have time for the last challenge and Street Fighter is not in my zone so that explain’s my non participation. I can’t speak for others, though.

ERIC,

1. Silver quits. Poof. He’s gone. How does Silver’s exit affect the way you play out the second half of this game?

Silver quitting puts us down one as a tribe. But We still have the numbers and should be fine. Doesn’t mean we don’t miss him though.

2. Is there any sort of mystery as to who will be voted out this round?

I think it’s obvious one of the old Oco members will be voted out. One has immunity, which leaves two.

JERIC,

1. You’ve probably been one of the quieter players this season. Give me your take on how the merge has gone so far.

-I partly agreed to that, I have been a quiet player lately. Merge is pretty interesting. maybe the game will heat more after this tribal? who knows.

2. What strategy do you think other players are using to survive this round?

-I really dont know the answer to this one. but knowing that theres an HII left. It’s quite scary.

JONAS,

1. You and Sheri are the only two Oco members vulnerable. What the heck do you to scramble and stay alive?

I think Sheri and I are both in trouble. We wi do what we can to stay safe.

2. Have you caught anybody lying this round?

No. Not a lot has been said to me, personally but I’m sure other have talked.

KIM,

1. The players you vote out join the jury. Does that change the way you send people out the door? Or are you still going to kick people to the curb in the same manner as you would have for the first six rounds?

~ If it were solely up to me, I’d continue with the curb kicking. I’m thinking not much persuasion will be needed. My blood runs Pasu! In fact I’m considering a tat.

2. You have been in possession of the Medallion of Power for the past seven rounds thanks to Tina. Have you thought about using it at all?

~Well no, I sort of wish you’d stop mentioning it. :-/

Oh, i like tc questions when i’ve had a few beers. ? woo.

KJ,

1. For the second round in a row, you’re safe. Is the only way for you to survive until the end is to win every immunity challenge?

Well, I’d like to think I don’t need to win immunity every round, but honestly, coming into the merge on t
he short end of people, you have to do what you have to do until you can actually talk to people and have them get to know you.

2. What would you say rings more true–you, Jonas, and Sheri have merged with the opposing tribe or that you, Jonas, and Sheri have been added to the opposing tribe?

Well, I think we have merged with the opposing tribe personally judging from the conversations I’ve had recently, but ya never know…

SHERI,

1. There are still two idols left in this game waiting to be played. Has there been any speculation as to who has them or if they have been found?

2. What’s the biggest observation you’ve made about this new tribe?

STEPHANIE,

1. Are you confident as to where you stand with the others in this game?

Well I don’t know how to answer that. I feel like I’m in the majority, but I think the better answer is that, I love this.

2. Who do you find to be the biggest threats at this point in the game?

I think we have major threats in the game, I for 1, am not. I think Vuit is a huge threat. He is strong, when we were in tribes, he was tough.

VUITTONI,

1. You and Sheri at the beginning of the game won the ability to spy on a tribemate to see if they requested a penalty idol. Has anybody ever approached you about how to use it? Or does no one really care about how that gets used?

?1. So far it seems like no one cared… *shrugs*

2. Well I’ve recycled the same ol’ crap so after 19 questions at TC, I really don’t have anything groundbreaking to ask. Anything you want to say in general before we vote?

2. Live like there is no tomorrow, dance like no one is watching, because in the end it ALL tastes like chicken… and chicken tastes good

VUITTONI: >.>

STEPHANIE: Sorry V. I was honest

VUITTONI: I’m not a threat!

STEPHANIE: You are. You were a beast in challenges

VUITTONI: < kidney failure

STEPHANIE: Yet you have kidney failure, but you can post for a challenge? Sounds fishy. Take it as a compliment. Plus you threatened me when we voted out Daniel. I don’t like that.

VUITTONI: since my kidneys failed i havent won ANYTHING. no i didn’t

STEPHANIE: You did. You told me that if I wasn’t active, which I was but I guess since I wasn’t up kissing ass, you think I was not active. You basically told me that it was me or him. In so many words. I’m sure if you were in my shoes the you would have taken it the same way.
Alright. When you vote please do so in the following manner:

VOTE: (Logan)

REASON: What is it with you ORG hosts, anyway? I hate “vote for me to win immunity” challenges too, but you don’t see me WHINING ABOUT IT!

So I’m about to vote you out. Your torch should be snuffed any minute now. . .YES!. . .YES!

Tonight the tribe has not spoken. But rather the tribe would like to say this to you:

Alright. KJ is safe. The other nine of you are fair game. Between now and 11:00pm eastern Tuesday, it is time to vote. Kawcy tribe, you’re up.

TRIBAL COUNCIL VOTING

BIJO,

VOTE: Vuittoni

Reason: I can’t believe I’m doing this. Finally, blindsiding one of the biggest threat in the game. Or so I think. Sorry… everyone’s afraid of you.

ELMO,

Vote:

Just because

Vuittoni

ERIC,

Vote: Vuittoni

Reason: He tries to run the voting, and he’s a huge threat. Game changing move, anybody?

JERIC,

I am voting Vuitonni out [:D]

Reason: Because He is a big threat.

JONAS,

I vote for the black guy. Idk how to spell his name. V. I guess

KIM,

VOTE:(Vuittoni)

Because you scare the livin hell outta me, period.

KJ,

CONFESSIONALS EPISODE SEVEN

ERIC,

I’m going to forfeit the challenge… My mom is gonna be pissed if I run up the internet bill, so this is the easy way out.

JERIC,

This is crazy 😐

JONAS,

Let’s just vote and continue the game like normal.

I say we vite someone back into the game.

KIM,

UGHHHH

yes i want the stupid jury to start now and yes i want the stupid merge to start now.

bull—-.
but, wtf ever. i suppose now isnt the time to start a healthy debate because im all salty and im tired and i can pretty much bet it would end with cussings. like i almost did to eric today which wasnt so smart on my part… guess ill save the ranting…. for now. but i don’t agree. i dont effin agree. GAHD DANGIT.

i have late shift tomorrow so i will fill you in on the gossips or as the asians would say *talking trashes* tomorrow. hope you can read.

also, since you didn’t acknowledge that i told you happy birthday, i have mailed you a box of dung. i’ll remember that s— next year. you’ll get your box a week early. lucky for me there is an overabundance of cattle here. i will NEVER run out of cow patties.

What the hell was that? Ohh! i could hear you smiling from here, over the drama that is about to take place. That’s not very nice. Lots went on this morning, if i get caught im so Fu———–! omg at the scandal that continuously surrounds my head. so i didnt get to type my novel to you yet. you will get it tho, plus ill copy convos. g’night turnip.

Brandon Harris
Kim Thompson Jsut called me a n—-. Im so hurt:(

SWEET JEEZUS. OK. im gonna send this now but i there is so much scandal i need to fill you in on. gahd im in a mess.

Eric Bahen
What do you think of splitting the votes?

23 minutes agoEric Bahen
I want to be honest with you… I forfeited the challenge for the clue like most people, and I want to share the clue with you.

20 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
OMG I DIDNT GET A CLUE I JUST DIDNT DO THE CHALLENGE CUS I WAS DRUNK. let me smoke a cig and get off the phone we nned to talk about votes.

18 minutes agoEric Bahen
Hint #7: the “?” and “/” are crucial in solving the inal step of this puzzle
Didn’t do a challenge because you were drunk… Makes sense

15 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
im still here almost done.
ok u here?

14 minutes agoEric Bahen
Take your time, I’m in no rush

13 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
yep ok sundays are like my only day off. so i wasnt about to do that challenge. i effed off on facebook with my friends and didnt even ask for a clue…….why? because i am stupid, im in 9 org’s right now and i just didnt care. now im kicking myself in the face.
ok where is your head on the votes. i cant think about that clue up there until i wake up. i worked 11 hours today

11 minutes agoEric Bahen
9? I had trouble doing two while working part time…
I’m still not entirely sure. Vuittoni thinks we should split them 4/3 in favour of Jonas

10 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
LOL im an addict but anyhow…..
the vote thing…
there aren’t the votes to go to jonas.

10 minutes agoEric Bahen
Why not?

10 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
also, are you aligned with vuittoni?
because no one is voting for him.

9 minutes agoEric Bahen
Nope. I just like to know where everybody stands and he was the only one on
You sure?

9 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
from what i understand, unless im being lied to elmo and co are voting for him.
we are gonna have to be sure to feel something out here.
like get a solid ground somewhere
im floating.
and im not comfortable with it
floating alliance wise.

7 minutes agoEric Bahen
Wait, who’s Elmo voting for?

Me too, dont worry

7 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
vuittoni. and um there is a fight right now with stephanie and vuittoni.
ok here is what i think..

6 minutes agoEric Bahen
When did he tell you that?…

6 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
ill have to go look.
hold on
an hour ago, he said you were telling him to split votes.
keep quiet though, we are gonna have to work with them obviously

4 minutes agoEric Bahen
Vuittoni wanted to do that… But we need to get V out
Stephan suggested it to me a while ago, and it needs to happen
Stephanie*

2 minutes agoKim Prather Thompson
ok, my thing is..i like him and i told him i would work with him. i hate to be that way in not keeping my word, but…it sounds like he is playing very hard and making deals with everyone. but in my honest opinion, he scares me as a player. and he is messaging me not but im not responding.

but yeah he is scandalous

about a minute agoEric Bahen
Hes trying to run the votes.
Give me a minute to get on my laptop and I’ll send you a screen shot

a few seconds agoKim Prather Thompson
yep. ok.

KJ,

We are f—ed either way I am pretty sure.

Here are the answers I got. I do stand by my complaint that this challenge was f—ing lame going into merge with s—ty numbers. i have watched almost every episode and forfeited my Sunday with my honey for this challenge.. all to realize I cannot win. Sux

im just gonna send you s—.

and dont ya hate it when the stuff from a hot pocket burns your face?

Jeric Lim Remojo
CRAZYY!

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
LOL ughh. what the hell is with this guy? oh well, i put the headf— right back to him

July 27Jeric Lim Remojo
HAHAHA he just ruined his game from now on. LOL

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
ok. but too i was thinking about the other powerhead on our tribe.
and when we need to deal with him, cus it will be not pretty. HAHA

July 27Elmo Berbano
and who’s the other powerhead? ha ha

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
vuittoni

July 27Elmo Berbano
i knew it. i just hope he doesnt get the three minorities from the other tribe

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
wow. That was uncalled for…
Do you think Eric’s trying to warn you about a sudden blindside???
I’ve got this feeling that he’s in an alliance with vuittoni.
and he might get the 3 minority in the other tribe…

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
i think eric is being pompous
we need to see about maybe getting jonas with us quickly! has anyone messaged him? and sorry i just dont like kj or sheri too much but i’d work with them if and only if necessary.

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
and where exactly does silver stand? and who dafuq is he? LOL

July 27Elmo Berbano
im nervous that vuittoni might get the theree minorities and pick us one by one
silver is with us
how can i forget silver
ha ha
he’s nice. and said he would like to work with you, kim

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
lol! ok so we keep this thread for the core and sharing info. but we need another thread for outter core alliance.
yeah he seems really nice i just wonder who he is.

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
Silver is our tribemate… and I think he will not flip. He will go with our tribe as long as OCO is dissolved.

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
so what then do we need to do? try and get jonas with us? surely he wont want to go out thinkin he might get the boot cus hes oco anyhow?

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
Uhm anyway!!!!!
Can we vote NO for the merge and YES for the Jury????

NO for the merge because I want to reduce the risk of somebody flipping with the other 3. You see, 3 is still a strong number and it won’t benefit us if 2 or 3 flips on the other side.
I think gambling for the Tribal challenge, we don’t have to worry about it.
If we lose, we have vuittone and Eric to vote.
What do you think?

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
Uhm, I don’t know Jonas but if it’s looking good for us, then why not?

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
will he let me change my vote? i voted before bed last night cus i thought everyone wanted both.

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
Ugh… I don’t know? and I don’t think so? Lol…
but anyway, what do you think about that plan???
or do you want to start the individual challenge already?

July 27Elmo Berbano
oh so you suggest throw the challenge?
sounds good to me.

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
No… I didn’t suggest to throw the challenge. Lol.
I say if we win the Tribal Challenge, Oco will vote one of the 3 and if we lose the Challenge then we can vote out Vuittoni.

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
Yep, i think so. (about vuittoni)

but first as crazy as logan is..he might take these votes and twist them. but i wonder if oco voted in favor for merge?

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
Nice Kim.. I didn’t thought about that. Well, looking at their statistics, they might vote for NO. they might take a chance in winning the Tribal Immunity once again. Unless they have someone to flip to gain the numbers then they’ll vote for Yes.

July 27Jeric Lim Remojo
that right bijo.
*thats

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
yep…im wondering if anyone or myself should message jonas??
are we allowed?
Jeric, does mervin not make you LOL? he freakin kills me.

July 27Jeric Lim Remojo
hahaha ok that was a random question. but yeah, Mervin is funny indeed.

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
sorry. i guess cus i was just talking to him about a bb game. LOL

July 27Jeric Lim Remojo
haha. you both are amazing though

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
Gawsh… I love the conversation between Kim and Albee in Org’s Next Top Model… vagina and scissors… LOL!!!!

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
well,anyway, it’s so random so……
What are we gonna do?
Stick to yes for the merge?

July 27Jeric Lim Remojo
I’ll say YES to that Bijo

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
I had submitted my vote last night so i “yes” to both.

and i cant help myself. i have been friends with albie for a while. i adore him. LOL we talk on the phone all the time. he does s— for laughs and people just take him too serious.

July 27Bijo A. Lumogdang
Haha… I know…
I quite understood him while reading his comments. I say he’s got some good personality.

July 27Kim Prather Thompson
He is hilarious. but anyhow i have to get ready for work. if i can make a connection from work, i’l check my phone and see whats up. Y’all have a good one! xoxo

SaturdayKim Prather Thompson
ALRIGHTY THEN….IM PUTTING A NEW BLADE IN MY BOX CUTTER!!!

SaturdayBijo A. Lumogdang

anybody talked to Jonas?

SaturdayKim Prather Thompson
did anyond get jonas? im curious about him. i can try tonight or tomorrow is my off day.

SaturdayBijo A. Lumogdang
I tried to start a conversation with him.

do you think we should keep him?

SaturdayJeric Lim Remojo
thats what he told me also. LOL

SaturdayBijo A. Lumogdang

SaturdayKim Prather Thompson

SaturdayStephanie Johanna DeFranko
Honestly, I think Vuitthinks he is running the game. As much as we need to take out kj and Sheri, they could be used to make that big move against Vuit. Personally he is way to cocky to me and he acts like he is Better then us

SaturdayKim Prather Thompson
this is true. as much as i hate the c— duo we can get them next. as long as we for sure do it

I’ve been busy at work, there’s no point to me to back in this decision, would have the same end, me out of the game.
I want to thank you, but i have to quit.
I thought if i quit now wouldn’t mess with the schedule since no one was voted out yet.
So this is a Yes.

I’ll sit out

Oco didn’t want to fall any further in numbers and were set on their three. Pasu thought preserving their advantage would allow them to thrive. Both sides agree to merge. Two seasons in a row we have a 10-1 vote to merge. I’m beginning to think that there won’t be a scenario where the overall group doesn’t vote to merge. Hmmm. I’ve got ideas that add some suspense to a merge for next season.

THE JURY IS NEW

Neither season one nor season two featured the choice to start the jury. I took the liberty of giving them the liberty to decide whether or not they wish to commence the jury phase. Indeed everyone overwhelmingly agreed to have all remaining players to be on the jury. I suppose nobody is cruel enough to block the jury from starting based on a strategic decision. That choice may have to be revised in the future.

THE IMMUNITY CHALLENGE

We do this one every season. In season one it was reading Online Survivor episodes where Mervin, Scott, and Fiona did it together until the later questions. In season two everyone had to listen to Garudoh’s video game music epic. This season it was the stupid and terrible Street Fighter Animated Series. I chose it because I was doing a project of watching all Street Fighter anime, the movie featuring Raul Julia himself, the animated series, and the Legend of Chun Li. I watched the Legend of Chun Li a couple weeks ago.

I think Fast and the Furious’ next script has more original dialogue than Legend of Chun Li.

LITTLE PARTICIPATION

Whoa! Nobody did this challenge except for Bijo and KJ? Yeah, that’s a lot of players who feel comfortable. Or the cartoon was truly that painful. Or both.

Kudos to KJ for clearly putting in a ton of time watching this cartoon. And to Bijo as well. It took me three months to get through it all. Both of them did it in less than 24 hours. I think a moment from this round that will live forever in my memory is when KJ thought Zangief’s name was “Zanky”. I remember being puzzled who she was referring to in her answers but figured it out. I have a small inkling that KJ didn’t hang out playing Street Fighter in the arcades during the early 90s.

OCO DOOMED

They’re down five members. Jonas’ idol has been played. Him and Sheri are waiting to be eliminated. However they are viewed to be in such a weak position that Kim and Stephanie begin to strike. Something would occur before that mayhem would take place.

SILVER’S QUIT

Note to self: Don’t let fake profiles play this game. A quit out of boredom is a first (and I pray a last) for this series. Brian is the only player before Silver to have quit. He quit because of the nastiest fighting that ever transpired in this series that threw around accusations of real life threats. Silver’s excuse? That he was bored and a couple of people weren’t talking to him.

What’s there to say? Silver appeared to be in an excellent position to make it to Final Four. The game was in his reach. He was usually featured near the top of my round-to-round power rankings. Why do I always bet on the players that quit? I must be oblivious.

Unfortunately that’s the second quitter of the season. It totally slipped my mind that Nick quit. He discovered he didn’t want to be on the Internet all summer. Again, I believe Brian had a more valid reason for quitting. In fact, Brian still promotes the heck out of my ORG for people to apply. It’s tough to be too mad at Brian after the fact.

Of course Silver quitting greatly alters the dynamics. He wasn’t in any danger and was in most players’ end game plans. I was kind enough to give everyone 24 hours off. It’s a bit hilarious that Silver quit out of boredom when the game would prove to be anything but boring over the next few rounds. In fact how does someone go through the entire pre-merge winning every immunity, then come onto the post-merge phase where you must always vote somebody out and announce “this is boring”. That is what mystifies me most about Silver’s quit.

My apologies to Umut and Evan. Both of them asked right after the cast of eighteen was locked in if they could be added last minute. No doubt that I feel bad about it now. Hopefully those two apply for season four.

GAME GOES ON

Enough about that. So Oco loses its second member. Kim and Stephanie put the wheels in motion to make it a third. I think any doubt that Stephanie is associated with Jonas must be eliminated now. She saved him. Everyone wanted Jonas to go. Including Vuittoni. Kim and Stephanie both lied to everyone saying the votes wouldn’t be there and that vote splitting wouldn’t do the trick. It required a ton of deception but they pulled it off. Everyone attacked Vuittoni while he was down and he was defenseless. He tried to speak up at Tribal Council but everyone bought Kim and Stephanie’s stories.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these two are hated by the end of the season. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the gameplay gets so out of hand that KJ, Sheri, or Jonas can miraculously pull out a win and take the game for themselves.

The question is if Jonas, KJ, and Sheri notice how easy it is to feed the chaos amongst the six remaining Pasu members.

PASU DWINDLING FAST

In only two rounds Pasu has gone from nine down to six members. That’s a gigantic drop when you had a Medallion of Power and a post-merge Tribal to exterminate the enemy. I’m very curious if we see a Timbira scenario play out before us.

VUITTONI IS OUT

Vuittoni sent in the odd confessional and was very strong in challenges. Of course that’s a prime recipe for an early post-merge boot. Something that I think KJ will be branded with and will send her packing sooner rather than later. Lucky for Jonas he hasn’t matched that description so far this season. Sheri regresses somewhere in between. Who knows. Something tells me that the tribal lines of Pasu and Oco are a mirage. The closer I think they are is really how distant they have become.

JERIC AND ELMO HAVE BEEN QUIET

I haven’t come up with much to say about these two all season. You guys around? I’d love to hear from you. It’s not necessary for Bijo to speak up for you. At this point I am assuming that Bijo is guiding this trio and when Bijo falls. . .well, the rest of them will fall. Whether it be falling out of this game or falling under Kim’s or Jonas’ wings.

9: KJ
8: Jeric
7: Eric
6: Bijo
5: Sheri
4: Kim
3: Elmo
2: Stephanie
1: Jonas

SILVER EXIT INTERVIEW

And here it is. Your exit interview. Time to bring your tears to your eyes as you recall your time in this game.

1. This was your first ORG. Recruited straight out of Sono’s group. How much of a shock was it to be forced to get to know eight strangers while some of them knew each other?

Yeap, it was my first org, but not my first Survivor online game.
I’ve played 5 seasons of an online “survivor game” and I always came to be the villain.
I’m pretty good at deal with strange people who already know each other, so it was not a big problem.

2. Speaking of which, do you think being isolated from people who already know each other gave you an advantage?

I think was better to me to convince the others on the outs to join me. When we picked our members in the beginning I tryed hard to split people who already know each other. But we will never know if I did a good job, once i quit.

3. What alliances did you make throughout the game? And which ones were you intending to keep to the bitter end?

Elmo, Eric, Bijo and Jeric. But I end up liking Kim as well, she’s such a nice person, so I’m not sure the way i would pick in the end.

4. There was a few people on the tribe who weren’t extremely active. Yet Daniel was the only one blamed for inactivity. Did he really stand out as being quiet and unhelpful or did somebody point the finger at him and everyone jumped on board to protect themselves?

Daniel was bland, but was not the only one. Steph, Jeric were dead weight as well, but Daniel was picked because no one had connections with him.

5. You seemed to be having a good time in this game. You were sending in confessionals and actively participating. When was it that you were thinking “I’ve had enough of this”?

The thing is, I played a lot of games like this one, and I kind retired of playing. I reached final two, yeap I lost, but there was no point to keep playing for me.

But i saw this game and kind of , well, let me give it a shot.
It was an experience, i didn’t like cause I was going in the same thing that I got tired in the other games. It’s simple, I tryed to play again, but i had enough a long time ago.

6. Some people wonder why one would quit after being up 8-3 in tribal numbers, and heading into the most exciting part of any Survivor season. The game would be in full motion from that point forward.

The people who complain about it are stupid. They just wanted to be in my good position on this game, once they struggle to have an alliance that kicks a–.

7. Rumours have been floating around that you were an alias. I had a couple people coming to me wondering if you were a real person/a previously known player. How do you defend those accusations?

” I had a couple people coming to me wondering if you were a real person” HAHAHA, wtf??? No, I’m a robot, haha. People are stupid to question it. I’m a person, I just don’t use my real profile on facebook.

8. How do you think you quitting impacts the game?

I didn’t think about it, doesn’t matter for me. And, Pasu have a good lead on this game! if they lost, haha, would be pathetic.

9. If you didn’t quit, who would have been your target at the next Tribal Council?

no idea.

10. What expectations did you have heading into the game?

I was expecting to not to deal with a lot of boring people. But there were a couple. So i was bored. And went home.

11. How did the game live up or let you down to your expectations?

well, I think maybe it take too much time between the challenges and the results. So it gets boring. I was used to play live challenges. That’s why I was kind of sick of the challenges, because the people was not what you can call actives.

12. What do you think is the most striking difference between how Survivor plays out on TV and how it plays out online?

simple, on the original show people have to deal 24/7 with their tribe mates. Online… we didn’t even see some of the members, haha.

13. Who do you want to be voted out next? Who do you think will be voted out next? Who do you think will win? Who do you want to win?

I don’t care who will win or who will be voted out next.

14. If you have any other thoughts, please share.

Just to thank you and apologize to take your time.

VUITTONI EXIT INTERVIEW

‘Tis time for your exit interview.

1. You were the first tribe captain. Do you think that alone made you a target?

I wouldn’t say I was THE captain… more like ONE of the leaders…

2. Perhaps of anyone in this game, you were easily the strongest when it came to understanding the tribal immunity challenges. Do you think that made you just as respected as it did come off as threatening?

Meh… knew it would make me a target, but once my tribe was picked and I knew NO ONE I figured I had to win challenges to even make the merge…

3. Who were your most important allies in the pre-merge phase?

I feel like our whole tribe was my ally leadin up to the merge…

4. For some reason this game appears as if players aren’t talking to each other too much. Seeing as how you were central to your tribe’s success, did you yourself get a chance to talk to everyone else frequently?

lol, No actually… only Kim and that was only occasional…

5. The tribe went from giving you individual immunity in round four to eliminating you in round seven. Do you think the plan all along was to eliminate you in the first round of the post-merge phase?

I think the plan was to get me out WHENEVER I didn’t have immunity because of the very real possibility that I might win ALL the challenges…

6. Why exactly did Daniel go? Was he really that inactive compared to everyone else or was he just on the wrong side of the numbers in the tribe?

Kim and Steph wanted him gone… thats it

7. Do you think you would have been saved post-merge if Silver hadn’t quit? Or did Silver’s quit have zero impact on the game?

I probably still would have gone home…

8. If your tribe went to Tribal Council a couple more times pre-merge do you think that would have helped or hurt you in the long run?

I think it would have hurt

9. You actually didn’t have to be voted out this round because of the ultimatum you were given. You led the charge in both asking the tribe to merge and to begin the jury. The merge comes and boom, you’re now gone. What would have happened if you led the charge in the opposite direction?

I think if everyone else was planning to vote me anyway they should have held off on starting the jury…

10. You stayed far away from all hidden immunity idols in this game. Why was that?

Not my style…

11. Who surprised you the most in this game?

Kim voting against me… s— was crazy….

12. Seeing as you’re the first person to be voted off after the Silver quit, I’d like to address something. Rumours have been floating around that Silver is an alias. What do you make of those accusations against Silver?

I suspect that Silver may be Kim, but I’m not positive

13. You and Eric appeared to have a very tight partnership in challenges. Yet the votes come out and it is unanimous against you. Did Eric voting against you surprise you at all?

No, cuz actually I barely talked to Eric… only Kim surprised me

14. You said kidney failure kept you out of participating in the last couple rounds. Other players assume that was a strategic ploy. What was the factor in you going home? Was it really your kidneys which made everyone distrust you?

That’s the only thing that pissed me off… I was hopitalized for 5 days and I now have a catheter in my neck becuz my kidneys failed… I’ll be on dialysis for the rest of my life and these motherf—ers have the NERVE to question if its a f—ing ploy? F— EVERY SINGLE LAST MOTHERF—ER WHO DOESN’T BELIEVE ME! I WOULDN’T LIE ABOUT THAT S—…

15. You and Stephanie had an argument at Tribal Council which put you in the spotlight. Do you think Stephanie wanted you gone all along or have you two been secretly targeting each other behind closed doors?

She seems butthurt cuz I asked her if she planned on being more active… and then she thought I was voting her… knew she wasn’t sticking to our F3 alliance

16. What has been the most interesting aspect about playing this ORG in contrast with others?

Your challenges are just… BETTER… I was sick of the Mindjolt, posting carousel…

17. Who do you want to be voted off next? Who do you think will be voted off next? Who do you think will win? Who do you want to win?

Oco tribe… Bijo… Eric… anyone but kim or steph…

18. If you have any other thoughts, please share.

People aren’t used to my level of loyalty… so they sent me home… but at the end of the day, this game isn’t worth ruining friendships… but people do it all the time

On behalf of the production crew for SupaCooWackyLand, we thank you for playing this game!
